I just like my aircraft to be realistic, that comes with passengers and crew to see and hear. But I know Xbox performance restricts us , together with not able to use 3rd party addons
I purchased the Boris sound pack
How do we know it’s enabled on the aircraft?
I chose the bundle all 3 variants, but can’t seem to choose any of them in MSFS2024?
Do we just assume they are applied to the aircraft?
They should be enabled automatically on all aircraft. I’ve also bought the Boris soundpack and flew the 772RR and 77W since - the difference is like night and day. You’ll be able to hear it clearly, latest when the engines roar to life.
The 772RR sounds like an A330 now!

You are correct, I loaded a flight KSFO-KMIA and immediately noticed a warmer soundscape and better cabin sounds. Wow!!!
We have come along way on console!!!
PMDG 777 and Boris sounds, butter smooth flight, great LOD. I’ve done some hours on MSFS over the last 6 years but the last few hours have been the most incredible. My mind was racing into the future and what the PMDG747 and good sounds will bring

I agree it’s crazy they are busy prioritising recycling the 737 when we haven’t seen all the triple variants on Xbox

They have made us wait for to long
They don’t care that much about that I’m afraid. They know people will still buy it because there’s no other option for Boeing on Xbox

Anyone else hugely frustrated at the lack of a fix for the wing textures and LOD issues? It seems PMDG have totally abandoned Xbox / Marketplace buyers.
Emails to support are met with silence.

Also lack of pushback, simple things expected and delivered by everyone else except PMDG and their $40 coffees with no pushback.

As much as I love to have the 200LR or the 300 , I’m staying away from buying PMDG.
There’s other options that are satisfying also. I can’t mention it or my post will be removed again.
But it’s a pitty PMDG is not very active in the Xbox section. I know they still a business that primarily have the goal to make profit and I get that. But being the only player in the field at this level makes them a bit arrogant.
I’ll stick to my BA

yes with individual engines or all 3 in a bundle (for the 200ER for example).

Did a short 1hr hop in Europe, worked well so far. Whereas the A350 would result a guaranteed CTD in Heathrow on SU5b, the 772 flies without issues.
…well, almost - it’s still not possible to update the navdata via Navigraph, the progress bar gets stuck at 75% and it’s been this way since SU4. That means the 777s are stuck with an older cycle until either PMDG, Navigraph or Asobo find a solution for this issue.
They said it will be fixed in the next update, but when that is, is the question.
Yes search customisation and sound package or just check recent releases it been out about 2 weeks
