I was watching this tutorial from PMDG on YouTube. When slowing down just before the final approach. He went into a menu on the tablet to take away throttles from the AFE, the menu was called “AFE states”.
My tablet only has The AFE page which I can click on the various stages of flight from pre flight checklist all the way to parking. I don’t have any options he had in his tutorial. I am wondering if PMDG had updated the tablet after their tutorial. Which only gives the AFE control unless you click on a segment of flight you want him to take over and if nothing is clicked the pilot flying has full control .
They changed the presentation on the tablet since version 2.0.28 (or 27, not fully sure when). Rearranging the items. But they’re still the same. Just in a different position on the tablet.
What he does in the tutorial is turning off the ‘descent’ stage.
