Iāve purchased in all the categories above but for this particular aircraft, and knowing itās PMDG, Iām already expecting it to be at least $100.
with MSFS being so early on and therefore so many updates to come, this fairly complex model will need lots of follow on service from PMDG - theyāll want to charge a price that at least tries to cover those expensesā¦
if itās under 80$ Iāll be surprised
With the 737, 777 and 747 they had the ābase packageā and then āexpansionsā. 777-200, pay extra and get the 300. Something like that. So maybe the initial price wonāt be that crazy, if they can cash in on additional stuff. I donāt know enough about the DC-6 to know if thatās feasible. But if there were certain interesting variants they might.
Iām not sure yet if I want it. But if I want it Iāll pay whatever theyāre asking. Else I canāt get it.

got a incoming 3080ti on itās way will sale it also cause iām using a 3090 right now or i may sell it instead. but for msfs 2020 3080ti or 3090 is not going to be a game changer, my 2080ti worked just the same if not better.

The day weād see a DC-6 wing flex in real life, weād be in big trouble (as the wing would separate from the fuselage), so I hope itās not modeled too accurately!

I honestly hope you guys are wrongā¦this is just wrong to charge that much for one aircraft in my opinion just as my kids are wrong to pay 15$ for a character skin in fortniteā¦
The game is a masterpiece and it would be a slap in the face to think that one airplane is worth more moneywise than the game itselfā¦I would go as far as putting a āprice limit to not exceedā for 3rd party developers if I was in charge of Asobo/MSFSā¦but thatās just me. I think it would be pretentious from them (PMDG) to charge over 100$ for this and I will never fall for this nonsense even though I can easily afford itā¦ Same for my kids, when they ask for gift cards to buy stuff on fortnite (V-Bucks lol), itās always āNOā I am not supporting this kind of abuse because thatās exactly what it is.

Abuse? Price Limit Not To Exceed mandate? Pleaseā¦ Just because you arenāt willing to pay the prices set by developers doesnāt mean you (or anyone else) should be dictating what others can do. Ultimately, the market will speak. I have a very good feeling that even with their $140 aircraft (plus expansions), PMDG is going to be just fine. They have managed thus far. They will continue to manage going forward.
This is FSLabs Airbus A320 for P3Dā¦ This is in line with PMDGās pricing as well.
