I’m about to buy some PMDG planes from MSFS marketplace instead from PMDG’s own store. Marketplace prices are somewhat quite a lot cheaper in my country (somewhere in asia). I don’t mind for delayed updates. However my concern is how to get liveries without buying PMDG’s livery pack, as none of airline I want is there. Most of flightsim.to liveries require operations center to install them and I’m not sure I can use it since I don’t have PMDG account. Could someone give me some insight?
PMDG have stated that their new Operation Center 3.0 will support Marketplace purchases, just as their earlier version of OC does.
I had purchased the DC-6, 737, and 736 in 2020 on the Marketplace and have been able to use Operation Center to install/manage both PMDG and 3rd party liveries.
I asked them about this support in 3.0 and they assured me they will continue to provide the same support for Marketplace purchasers moving forward.
Obviously, Xbox users are unable to take advantage of this, since OC is not able to run on an Xbox.
