Got your link, thanks!
And for the record, Iâm not used to solving problems this way
End.
Apologies for a dumb question: Have not flown the 172 in months, and recently I installed the GTN mod. Just checking it out today and i canât find the switch to change from VLOC to GPS. I do wear glasses and i cleaned them just yesterday! Help appreciated!
Across the bottom of the map screen are a set of buttons. Try the âCDIâ button.
Gosh, thanks! That was a nice place to hide it!!
like in the RW unit ![]()
Whatâs the general consensus on the Basic version?
Just a pretty map? It seems you canât even select waypoint info, which would be the only convenient feature. Tbh I think I can just as well use the GNS 530 that has more functionality without crashing and downloading a new version every 2 weeks.
Crashing? May I know which Aircraft? I never had CTD with this GTN 750 with close to 100 hrs, albeit used mainly only on my Mooney. I am planning to buy Turbo Arrow to use it but I am still reading feedbacks.
Take the new versions as a positive side, it means the developer is actively listening to the users and polishing both the basic & premium versions.
The unit itself was crashing for me. It stopped responding at some point until I downloaded it again and updated to a new version. I know itâs beta version but if you only use the basic version and the 530 is just a click away, it puts a big question mark on usefulness.
No crashes since the message bug was isolated.
Personally even if I dropped to basic I would still use it just for the touch screen,
Itâs worth it just for that!
I know premium has the dedicated weather radar/page but does the basic has nexrad at least?
Yes, basic has nexrad.
Does GTN 750 have a direct to function?
Yes, press the direct To button of the betzel.
If @ScorpionFilm422 changed $1 to answer each question that is clearly already answered in the Documentation, he might make more than the GTN750 subscriptions. !!
He certainly would have a lot more time for development work !!
Seriously, RTFM â there is a lot of information there you might never dream existed, and you might find you are missing out on so many features you never knew existedâŠ
Oh ok i thought it was somewhere in the touchscreen, couldnt find it
Thanks for that
Looks cool, where can it be found?
In the next basic package release (in few days).
