[Polls] Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Sim Update 4 Feedback (PC/Xbox)

I have already reinstalled Flight Simulator twice.
There is something in the scenery packages that causes Flight Simulator to crash.
That is why I get the error message with vsruntime140.dll in all cases.

However, all Navigraphy packages are accepted in community.
Additional aircraft also do not cause any problems.
It is the scenery that causes the problem.

I have weird Lights are going on and off. Green Red yellow. Always half of a seconds. Is there a fix? All aircraft are acting like that. I tried to disable Community_x with a new community. So the addons are not the issue. I have the newest Nvidia driver. RTX 5080. 7800 x3d, 64GB RAM. Mid Settings at 2K resolution

I was able to solve a runtime error once using ccleaner. Maybe worth a try. If you have a clean installation there shouldn’t be any scenery problems.

New version out everyone! 1.6.34.0

Got the same, 1 GB update for 1.6.34.0. Anyone know what this is? I can not find any release/patch notes.

Hello @GVY2406,

We always post release notes in the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > News & Announcements section of the forums. Here are the notes for 1.6.34.0:

Is 1.6.34 out on Steam, too? I’m on 1.6.33 there and don’t get any update even after restarting Steam / PC.

Hello @Newspawnz,

The update is gradually rolling out to all platforms (PC/MS Store, PC/Steam, Xbox, PS5). You may receive it earlier or later than some other players depending on your platform and if you are enrolled in the beta group or not. If you have not yet received the update, please be patient and you will see it soon.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

Yep, it showed up in the meantime. I really appreciate that we are getting smaller incremental updates so quickly. Thanks!

Woow.

Amazingly the old closed down thread about how unfinished helicopter career is has been reopened.

Thank you to the team for doing this - let’s hope for a round of love for this topic from Asobo and MSFS :hugs:

I just updated msFS24 and the optimization has become MUCH better. I thought I would no longer use large airliners in the career, because yesterday my sim crashed right before landing in Boston, and the fps was below 40, even on a 2K monitor (9800/5090). Now I’m flying on a 737 in North America and my fps is 50 (tlod400/pimax crystal super). There is some stuttering when turning my head, but it’s already playable and enjoyable! Good work, good patch!

FYI, if you are getting a CTD after the latest update (and you were not getting one previously), these is a bug topic for this here:

Can we please continue with these small hotfixes going into the future please. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for months for a SU to be released for major issues to be fixed. Less serious issues should be included in a SU, and more serious performance issues, or aircraft bugs should be fixed with a hotfix.
