Yes!! Same here (PC, MS Store). In VR and 2D my mouse clicks do not remove chocks or tarp or open any doors in walk around mode. Only since SU5 release. Cleared all caches (NVidia and MSFS), uninstalled FS24 and reinstalled. Tried a different mouse. Nothing is working. Plus, Iāve experienced several complete freezes on āQuit to Desktopā where I have to use Task manager to shut the sim. Stutters (with nothing in community folder) persist like never before. SU5 is the first update Iāve ever had real problems with. I e been lucky enough in the past 7 years to skate by with little to no problems. Guess itās my turn.
Extremely well said. We are all here for the same purpose, which is enjoyment. Enjoy the game, enjoy what it has to offer, and basically enjoy the experience of all that the flight sim community has evolved to over the years. I have learned so much from others here on this forum. Some of us here know far more than others, but at the end of the day, weāre all here to support each other and have a good time doing it. Asobo, please make this right so we can all get back to enjoying the game.
It is simply not possible for us to give Microsoft full control over our release dates. When we are 100% sure of the date Microsoft will release something, we can consider this. But as we saw with the 737-700 (where the liveries were released before the aircraft), this is currently not the case.

I just canāt wait for the day that stutters are officially gone for good!
Including all third party creators, who donāt care to update their products to new specifications?
Made another fresh Win 11 and MSFS 2024 SU 5 installation. Pure Vanilla. OS+Chipset driver+GPU driver. Virtual Desktop Streamer (for my Quest 3). No tweaks. No cheats. No registry changes. Result:
The same as last week on my last vanilla OS & MSFS 2024 installation. With a hand full of optimization (OC and Windows tweaks).
Stutters, microstutters, textures looks not like ānatureā and memory issues (again).
ā¦waiting for the next smile on my next flight in the sim ![]()

Itās just so odd how we can all have such different experiences in the same sim.
I installed msfs24 on release day Nov. 24. I have never uninstalled and reinstalled the sim. I have only ever cleared the caches 2 times in that entire time. I donāt use DDU or any other driver cleaner. I just tell nvidia to do the express install. I use the nvidia app. I donāt cap FPS or limit FPS.
Once I finally figured out my settings and lowered them to a point where I had a bit of headroom at the biggest third party airports I use, everything has been great.
I still believe overly aggressive settings are the cause of a lot of the issues on PC. I can make my PC have the same issues a lot of you describe simply by turning my PCL resolution from 80 to 100 (native). Turn up a couple sim settings on top of the increased res and I will have stutters and hitches and bad performance, just like so many describe here. And I have a pretty high end PC.
Maybe part of the problem is that the FPS can seem great, but without knowing, you are just about to run out of vram, and without some vram headroom you will start getting bad performance. You could see 60 FPS and think sweet, I can crank settings, but you might only have 1gb of vram left and maybe it is in more of a rural area and the the next thing you know, your 60 FPS turns into a performance stutterfest because you just ran out of vram. Once my vram usage was tuned with headroom, everything else worked great for me.
I have had no actual performance issues with SU5.
Clouds on ultra, just look like 5 years ago. They look repetitive and have no depth as they did. SU5 has degraded the quality?
Small feature but Im.glad they cleaned up that dumb icon on walkaround mode.
I did a few quick hops last night from Salt Lake City to the West Coast and textures from mountains and landscapes are definitely degraded since the SU4 went bye-bye
Today, I took a flight from Mineralnye Vody (Russia) to Yerevan (Armenia), and I can say that the quality of the mountains seemed to have improved. There were no delays or low bandwidth.
