very nice PG in Rio
the cap.4 low and slow over rio is a winning combo
very nice
And that would have killed the marketplace immediately.
I have a bit of feedback here. So far, Iâm enjoying the update very much. Itâs very nice to see Rio and Sao Paulo in such nice detail. I do have to say, though, that the Dona Martha helipad needs some PG clean up. Itâs a poi, and it was very nicely modelled. Itâs now covered in blobs and looks bad.
In regards to sugarloaf the helipad there seems to be sunk into the mountain. Iâm thinking it might be a little error with the new mesh and the previous helipad height.
My last concern is with the Iguazu area. I love the new models for Itaipu, the airport, and the hotel, but why did they skip the actual falls? The whole point of going to Iguazu is the falls, and they sadly havenât been modeled or at least corrected when it comes to the elevation profile.
Note: I donât have pictures available but can somebody check if they have the same issues? that way we can build a bug report
I experienced 2 CTDâs setting up the update in 2024, no problem downloading in 2020. These are the first CTDâs I recall in 24.
First of all, congratulations on the update. Letâs talk about the experiences. I flew 2 times on different machines today. On the first machine I have a 10850k+1060+32gb 3000MT/s at 1080p and I flew from SBRJ to SBMO on the Inibiulds A320. My settings are on low with only clouds and textures on medium and I have an average of 30 to 40FPS. On the ground in SDU I had low performance with a drop to 18 FPS outside and 25 inside the cabin, the flight was normal and the landing in SBMO was smooth with 30 to 35FPS. On the second machine, I have a 13900k+3080+32gb 3600MT/s and I flew from SBRJ to SBPS on the Fenix ââat 3440x1440 and on the ground in RJ I had VRAM burst and FPS in the range between 19 outside and 25 inside. The VRAM used was at 10240 and the board at 9047, in other words, a bottleneck. After takeoff, in the rain, the FPS went up again and stayed at an average of 60 the entire flight. However, on the approach to SBPS I had frame drops ranging from 55 to 47 and after touching the runway it stayed at 32 and at this frame until the engines were cut and the aircraft was turned off. There is some detail in the textures that is not right. This is where my report ends. Another point, in the year of COP30 you could have modeled SBBE in northern Brazil.
Nice update, love Rio and Sao Paolo and Brasilia. Where can we find the 3 Bush Trips? They should be somewhere according to the release notes?
I really liked the WU, the only thing that just makes me quite sad, is that you guys made airports that we already have in good quality⊠Why didnât you guys just do SBGR for example; thatâs more airports we need, would be very nice, if you guys would think about this
Is the one from TropicalSim not good?

In FS2024 CTD also after installing the product, and it stating that the product is owned.
Clicked OK, and the sim crashed to desktop.
This was on the screen before you see âManage in my Libraryâ.
World updates are now streamed or downloaded? If theyâre streamed, why the need to update?
Can somebody at Asobo explain to me why why why after every update all my settings in 2020 and now in 2024 are gone?? I am getting so frustrated about this⊠every freaking time
Can confirm the falls at Iguaçu are missing
As are the falls at Kaieteur National Park, right by Kaieteur International Airport (PKSA). It could be that no falls in WU19 are represented / animated.
Also, I had 2 CTDs at the airport at Kaieteur, one right after the other. I rarely have encountered a CTD in the game, so am hoping these were just weird anomalies.
Itâs the same with the London bridges, the cars drop off the edge and drive underneath in some too - ie those that are not fully underwater. London has not been waiting for a WU so it must be a graphics/photogramm issue. Tons of stuff still very blocky and unappealing all over.
hello,
As for the sim updates, it would be good if there was a beta for the world updates
Not sure about 10, but there are these 4, all only in Brazil:
Brasilia, Ouro Preto, Rio de Janeiro and SĂŁo Paulo
In Surinam, Paramaribo - you can see the yellow/gold cathedral. I think that is one of the cities. I flew over at 600ft and the buildings werenât blocky and revolting. The countryside around it is uninteresting and flat though - reddish rivers.
Very surprised Iguazu Falls are missing, they are probably the second most famous POI in Brazil after Rio.
Tried typing âbrazil landscapeâ in Google :
They also forgot to make a POI for the MaracanĂŁ stadium, even though this is one of the most famous stadiums in the world.
