Poor performance with update 10 on low spec pcs

thats a known “issue” and there are topics with discussions about that..

Here’s a few things that have worked for me so I can have fluid FPS in most scenarios… -Move PG cities into a backup folder and only keep the region I’m flying active. -Keep Terrain LOD at 105-125, anything over 150 my FPS start decreasing and stutters increase. -I disable all tabs in the toolbar and only enable the tab when I need it. The VFR map tab seems to cause FPS drops and stutters. -I use intelligent standby list cleaner which helps with stutters. -I only keep folders in the communi…

Join into and you find out , that currently LOD setting needs changed so that it match with your system. There are also other alternatives mentioned where you can have PG still enabled ( removal of 3d files ), but see existing topics.

PS: if you want to use memory cleaners, be carefull, this can cause crashs and not recommendation from my side. Simple ensure a correct pagefile setting, in special with ‘only’ 16gb RAM.
