- Post Your Cockpit Pictures Here -

I recently picked up the Turtle Beach Velocity One. I would have posted a pic, but sadly, I’m returning it in the morning.

It’s a great little yoke, once you get past the nightmare that is setting up keybinds.

But, sitting at a couch with a table that only comes up to knee height while sitting isn’t good for already knackered back.

I’ll rebuy the yoke in the near future.

Not laughing we all have to start somewhere. Ive been “collecting” bits of hardware for years, but started off with only a joystick and keyboard.

Some updates since the last post:
The CH Yoke, Rudder pedals and Throttle Quadrant have been replaced by:
Honeycomb Alpha Yoke
Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant
MFG Crosswind V3 Rudder Pedals incl hydraulic Damper.

It now looks like this:

But now I am working on my next project updating my cockpit with this:

Since this seat had been sitting in someone’s storage box for who knows how long, and who knows where it was before that, I decided to take the fabric off the cushions and wash them (hoping it’s age would not make the fabric fall apart.

Then it’s figuring out how to make the seat go up and down again, and to search for rails to put the seat on in the cockpit, so I can slide it back and forth.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. You got yourself quite the nice setup there for only being into flight simming for a few months.

I started my build in 2013, and have been into flight simming for 30 years now (dang that makes me feel old)

Here is my latest setup. I used the Project Immersion mounts so I can slide controllers on and off depending on what I am flying.

Very nicely done…CONGRATS. Many of the peripherals look custom made. Very nice work.

Hi

thanks. The desktop mounts are from Project immersion. They are like mounts making switching gear almost painless. The spitfire wheels and stick are from Authentikit. You can buy the parts and then you build them yourself. it was a fun build.

You might have a full 737 cockpit, but I have the wiggly string of immersion!

Not mine, but found this. My how things have changed. I wonder how much this cost back then in 2002.

I guess, the upper screen was used as a wet compass. Lol

Nice work there. Well done.

Very VERY impressive

My 10th rebuild over the last 6 years. Still have to add the Com/Nav radios. This is built around the Central Control Console that was removed from the Beech Baron that I flew back in 1993.
