North east corner of Newark International Airport. Took off, looked down… see a road with no cars… landed and found out why there is no traffic

Maybe the lowest altitude place in the world, the Dead Sea. 1360 ft below sea level.

Can’t go under bridges, land on one no problem… approach 90 degrees, damage off, with 1000 passengers in a Boeing 797, no serious casualties :smiley_cat:

Land on the side of a rockfall. It’s steep!

Cessna 152 aerobat, EH airfield near, but this seemed a nice place to land instead… :smiley_cat: long grass and forest road ahead, no traffic. Could fly away here also, no problem. Straight ahead. When you want to try this kind of grass land approach low… I had to try twice… first time landing gear got damaged. Take back throttle, land near stall. to prevent black screen. This is not a lawn: a farm land road. Restore the elevator to horizontal and mind the rudder, when taking off again…I nearly crashed into a tree.

This is what will actually happen… Flight TK1951 Turkish Airlines near Schiphol 2009… three crew died, three passenger casualties… two cows died of heart attack :cow: :cow: lucky it did not catch fire.

Ahh that inappropriate landing was very well done ! The Turkish plane I show had an altimeter problem, they assumed to be 200ft up,. while the ground was coming, they did not notice… maybe a controlled belly landing with a 747 is another story… amazing RL picture !

Yess… first good landing on LS60 with damage on, with Cessna 172.

Only problem is… when I take the handbrake off, the plane starts going off the slope VERY quickly… did not succeed in proceeding with a take off ! No control !

Haven’t succeeded the sail plane landing. Approach takes an hour… little tail wheel Shock Ultra can take off easily, but the landing is difficult. Before setting the plane on a slope upward you need to dive and pull up. Shock Ultra goes into overstress easily and when the approach is slow, it will stall without control. The Cessna 172 (above) has more motor power, suppose Shock Ultra is just too light for this ? it can’t pull up that slope in a controlled way…

The slope is basically too steep for most aircraft, except the Savage Grravel. Search for it here if you don’t have it already, it’s free!

Even that can’t stay there with brakes alone. So if you land on the slope you’ll have to turn and accelerate to get airborne again, or roll down backwards with power applied for parking. Or, do a really short landing in a STOL aircraft.

Looks like you’re on default textures there… Maybe check your data settings if that’s not intentional.

… when up, this plane flies like a slow response Kitfox but it needs more space on takeoff. Do NOT give it full throttle on takeoffs, the gyro will send it anywhere except up. Gently increase throttle, elevator up to prevent the tail wheel from lifting. For LS60 I started somewhere up (5995Ft) and landed on the slope. No pictures, I had to do a quick touchdown and restart, which is easy with this plane… No turn is needed ! you can just give it throttle, aeleron left and you’ll soar over the flank of the mountain.

After the LS60 flyby, I flew to a nearby airport Mollis Mil (LSMF)
