I’ve noticed an issue recently when flying in MSFS2020 recently. Was hoping the recent World Update did not fix it. When selecting dials and switches in Cockpit view, I have to hover the mouse over a little to the left of the dial or switch to get the cursor to select the option to adjust. Any ideas on what’s causing this, or how to fix it?
This has become an issue for VR users also, including myself, seems to come and go
Hi Andrew. If I understand what you are saying, this may in fact be normal. Many cockpit dials have more than one function. They can turn clock and anti-clockwise and some can also be pushed like a button. On those type knobs, when the cursor is slightly to the left, a mouse click turns the dial anti-clockwise. And the opposite is true when the cursor is placed to the right of the knob. The telltale hint here is the shape of the cursor changing when you place it in these different positions.
Have I missed your point or are the mouse cursors changing when to the left or right of the knob, wheel, or switch?
Well like when selecting Autopilot Hold switches. I couldn’t activate the button, unless my cursor was a little to the left of it. If that makes sense. But I think I figured it out. It looks like the lens correction setting in general settings seemed to be the culprit.
same problem with me , but when i turn on the devlp mode she worked , if i turn it off the probleme came back
Recent occurrences. While in airline cockpit view my mouse cursor flickers sporatically and I cannot operate switches. The mouse cursor works fine outside the cockpit. Same occurrence in 747, A320 and 787. Have messed with mouse sensitivity settings and such with no luck solving the flickering.
This bug is beyond frustrating. Doesn’t even make it fun to fly currently.
And there are like 4 other threads on this, some mixed in with the white border around displays, but I really hope the mods can get this escalated. Mouse interactions on all the airliners are awful in this new update.
Thank you so much Haytam, MS was of no help. But at least your idea got the cockpit mouse select to work.
This started when I installed the latest upgrade. I guess the app writers are getting sloppy again.
Turn off lens correction in graphics settings - apply and save.

As @moxiejeff mentioned above, there are a couple of reports about this issue. We are trying to avoid duplicates so that is why we may have to move or merge topics.
Below the main one related to that issue and it has been bug-logged last October. Please don´t hesitate to contribute there:
