Problems following a flight path

This only seems to be a recent issue, but I seem to have intermittent issues following a flight path when using autopilot. This has happened in multiple aircraft (M20, B350, TBM, FBW A320). I think I have enough experience that it isn’t user error but I’m always happy to be proven wrong.

For example, the flight I’m currently in right now is with the B350. The flight plan has been entered, the CDI is on gps. When I press the nav button on the autopilot the plane just makes a right hand circle. The same thing happens on the other aircraft listed above.

I’ve tried it with and without the GNS 530 mod, same issue. Am I missing something? Any idea?

in most garmin aircraft you can just select the correct wp and ‘activate to’
no idea about the fmc’s

i have the issue if i load from a flight plan it always points to the wrong wp, i reset this before i even taxi and all is well
if i enter the plan directly in the garmin i dont have the issue, so may not be the same here
