Nice! Here’s the aerial tram between Oregon Health Science University’s waterfront and hilltop campuses in Portland. The waterfront terminal doesn’t quite reach high enough but the hilltop side is close.
You can’t get it any longer on flightsim.to …
Any idea why?
The add-ons has been remove from .to because they are going to be payware.
Please note that is really not about money, but
(Quoting from my answer in the Marinas addon)
is the ONLY way to reach the Xbox users
This game was made for PC and Xbox, and the Xbox users only have the Marketplace to download add-on.
My application to the Marketplace is 3 years old.
During this time frame, I have released 3 add-ons that are considered among the top10 world enhancement mods
Why Xbox users CAN’T ENJOY them?
For new partners, the Marketplace “backlog” should not be an issue anymore. Infact, since November a handful of new Partners have been accepted.
But they OBVIOUSLY are not following application queu. That’s a fact.
So, what’s up with the Marketplace Team?
Or what’s wrong with me or with my idea to be able to make Xbox user enjoying some of the most appreciated add-ons?
If it’s not about money you could offer it in the Marketplace and on .to?
Anyway, will be happy to buy it.
There isn’t a real “freeware” section in the Marketplace, and it has a minimum price of 5 dollar for each addon.
Because of this, having the same product for free on a website vs paying money to have it elsewhere is not an option
There are several developers that have freeware available for download that they’ve also put on the marketplace for a cost. Examples are Seafront Simulations Channel Islands, Inibuilds Skydive Dubai, and others, so this is definitely possible and reasonable.
Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with you withdrawing the freeware and selling this product, it’s an excellent addon, clearly involved a lot of effort, and you certainly deserve to be compensated for your work. It’s great that it’s coming to xbox and I’m sure it’ll be excellent value.
It is however false to claim that it must be this way, rather than being a quite reasonable choice you have made.
Thanks tor gaving me this info
So, if freewares aren’t a blocker, shouldn’t Microsoft already have considered my application to the Marketplace?
that alone would have avoided this disservice
(people you mentioned are already accepted into Markeplace,
while my friends Xbox users are still waiting for this and other addons since 3 years!)
I’m with you all the way there, I think it’s a disgrace that your marketplace application of three years ago is still sitting in a queue waiting when every week there are countless repetitive low quality add-ons released by certain well known names.
I really start to wonder if perhaps some how they’ve lost or forgotten about your application? I’m assuming you’ve tried to chase this? It doesn’t seem right that newer applications have been approved ahead of you when you have created quality products which are widely used and respected amongst the PC player base.
For anyone interested in, product is now available for sale on Simmarket too
Will it work for MSFS2024 as well?
Yes, all my global add-ons are in test in the Dev Alpha and in the new version of the game are working flawlessly, the instancing in 2024 seems to be blazing fast
That’s good to hear! The boats and marinas are a must-have for me.
Very happy to announce that Project Lifts is now available in the Markeplace
Now Xbox users too can enjoy some cable and pylons dodging!
Are there many enhancements between the last freeware version and the new marketplace version for PC users? Or is this mainly for xbox users?
the version released on Markeplace has:
- overall improved placing routine (cabins and chairs after arrival / departure station should have been fixed)
- snow cannons
- new models (non everywhere because of some Xbox limitations, hopefully the limit should be improved in 2024-it is on PC, but I need MS to enable us devs to test on Xbox 2024 to confirm)
- integrated exclusion for World Upgrade 18
- collision (don’t remember if in the dead freeware version was enabled)
do you have some ideas or need some specific features?
All sounds good to me. I was very happy with the previous freeware version, I was more curious to find out what you could do to improve it.
