Yes you can
check my old sim pit website (outdated, but the essential info there is still valid). I used PM extensively back then…
essentially I would like to use the glass cockpit, on my monitors
This depends to actual PM interface state.
You need ask devs from PM if they have new MSFS interface. Sry, I don’t know, I just recommend to be careful because in case PM hasn’t changed their interface to MSFS then no possible. Many changes are in MSFS and with PMDG also due MSFS.
eeeeehm
you mean no actual data, update? As I said, check PM web page because they did some interface via FSUIPC to their SW previously so I expect maybe in case of MSFS FSUIPC7 as bridge. I don’t have FSUIPC now (had with FS9 times as interface to my apps) because I did my app via SimConnect API to FSX and now don’t have reason to do that again with v7.
Hello,
can you pls report if FSUIPC7 or other recommendations solved your problem? Be kind help to other users in similar situation.
PM works perfectly with MSFS 2020, I use it all the time.
I tried using PMDG with PM, all went well, you can assign everything using tools like FSUIPC and hardware like cpflight is directly compatible with PMDG, but the final no-go was trying to get the 4 PMDG DUs (Capt PFD/ND, FO PFD/ND, Upper Eicas, Lower Eicas) onto monitors on a separate, networked PC (ie a PC that does not have MSFS). This you cannot do currently and PMDG are not developing this.
You can pop-out the DUs to the SAME pc as MSFS, but this does not achieve what you need if you have a full-sized cockpit, and it destroys frame rates.
So even with PM software which has all the DUs, you cannot get them to communicate with PMDG DUs.
