A place for all things PS5 related.
Hi fellow playstation users ![]()
I wonder if other peripheral manufacturers will make anything for the PS5 ![]()
I did send Meridian an email asking the question but they just replied if there were plans they would advertise it in the future - so that’s a current no!
Don’t know about Honeycomb though or Velocityone, Moza, Virpil etc.
I can’t understand why more are not jumping on this bandwagon???
Still waiting for liveries in the marketplace for PS5
If Thrusmaster obtained licencing or a partnered licencing with Xbox for the Airbus gear it would definitely be a seller.
With Thrusmaster personally the Tflight hotas 5 shouldn’t of been a thing but it probably good for a younger generation.
TCA Sky Yoke thats coming was amazing to see but after a little digging the throttle is in such an awkward position with the size for the grip handle being small plus there is no force feedback at all so the realism wouldn’t really be there, the hype is there but I feel some disappointment especially if an external throttle quadrant can’t be attached.
It would be nice to get some type of information regarding any products coming to PS5 or even like the screenshot you sent. I would hope that chart includes playstation users as well. When I join streams they only talk about PC, and Xbox.
That somewhat saves it ![]()
Yeaah it would be good to know the differences between each platforms on what ones have been submitted, tested ect
Potentially dumb question.
In SU6 the HOTAS 4/5 was being recognized as a PC input device. People (myself included) were able to rebind using slightly different than normal methods. With the thrustmaster now having an official SDK on MSFS and the earlier “broken but working” nature of the HOTAS - could it be that Asobo have found a sneaky way to allow PC peripherals on PS5? Wishful thinking probably but had me thinking….
Hello Friends ,
First and foremost I want to say how much I love this game . I bought the base game on sale and pretty quickly upgraded to aviation edition.
My biggest problem , I apologize if this is not the best place for this, that career mode :
- Having problems with missions steps
- Missions not loading
- I want more WW1 planes !
Thank you for the support
There is a Career mode thread as well.
What problems are you having on the PS5 with missions?
Guys, can you tell me, first of all, when any worthwhile updates like “ATG” will appear on the PS5? I’m tired of waiting.
Which of us have any knowledge to what MS/Asobo plan for PS5?
Everything is by invite only and the dev has to prove their product will not mess around with the sim!
Again, PS5 players have to realise that MSFS 2024 is only about 8 months in and PC/Xbox have had years of development.
I suggest you go to that dev’s website and ask them the question - they are the only ones that know if or when they are developing for PS5.
I am hopeful that they are actively working on the issues affecting our sim, but you mean to tell me with all the years of development on PC/XBOX, Microsoft maybe could’ve learned from all the problems that has shown up and corrected those on PS5. Please help me understand what it means to develop such a game. In my humble opinion I would never release such a large and expensive game for it to behave like this. 8 months later and still can’t fly most widebody aircraft in the sim (especially 787), smaller jets don’t work for me, and I am not interested in the small general aviation planes. I’m just saying with the money i’ve spent and others as well, we would expect a working sim as the bare minimum.
I cannot argue with your sentiment or sense that you’ve been unjustly treated. When 2024 released we all had teething problems too. However, for PC and Xbox they would of course know a lot more about how to fix things - since they have been working with those products for years.
PS5 is a whole new ball game and Sony are insisting things are done right. When they get their understanding of the product and its limitations it will work. I don’t want to keep telling folk to keep their hopes up while they are experiencing such trouble but what else can one do?
In the end, once you are hooked into flight simming you keep coming back. I think it will take them at least another 6 months before they get PS5 working satisfactorily. In fact, PS5 players will be better protected than PC and Xbox players simply because Sony will adhere to their guidelines of quality - which ultimately will benefit us all.
Yeah I am hooked but the waiting game is driving me nuts lol. Seeing all the ad’s for new releases only for PC, and Xbox is really hard to see. I still will play but once I can fly the planes I want!
I get it, even waiting for them to be released onto the PC/Xbox MP drives me nuts, (yes, I have both but had PC before it came to PS5) they will eventually come to the MP. Remember this though, many Devs have to be invited because their product suits PS5 - I don’t know how many will want to go to the trouble - so what I am saying is, it is not all down to MS/Asobo. Dev’s will have to knuckle down and join the party because the playstation market is huge!
