Over Wyoming, KDEN-KMSO.

The Montana Rockies are clear as a bell today.

Pretty sure this was just south of Bozeman.

Glad I didn’t accept the clearance down to 7,000’ that ATC tried to give me!

Farms in the valley.

Missoula, MT, dead ahead.

Is that Montana Snowbowl?

Cleared to land runway 12.

Nice flight from Lincoln, NE to Bozeman, MT. Should there be snow anywhere? It was -7 at the time. Live cams show spotty patches in the area. I’m using Rex Weather Force. I’ll drop in tomorrow and see if the sim weather is better.

A couple of shots passing downtown Chicago while climbing out of KORD. On the way to Washington Reagan National.

Passing directly over KIAD on the letdown.

Landing long in KDCA. Stupid crosswind went from 32 knots on approach down to 6 knots on short final and I didn’t handle it very well. But the result was a nice view of Drzewiecki Design’s fantastic terminal modelling. More pictures below; the entire terminal interior is modelled, you can literally enter the main terminal and travel to any concourse. I’m blown away.

The escalators move!

Tower view. The train is animated as well.

Inside the tower.

Looking across the Potomac to the Washington Monument and the Capitol building.
