Maybe there’s already a bug reported about this, but I couldn’t find it. If there is someone, if someone can link to it would be great so I can vote it.
I’m now at SKMD, using Real Online Traffic, and supposedly I should be seeing in the airport (an autogen airport) the real time traffic (or at least not real time, but appropriate aircraft).
The thing is that the airport is full of full blown airliners, when in reality nothing like those operate there (they operate from SKRG, not from SKMD):
In reality, the only jets that operate from SKMD are private business jets, and Embraer ERJ 145. The rest of the aircraft operating there are all small/medium turboprops (ATR 42, ATR 72, Twin Otters, and mabe something else I’m missing). If you check departures arrivals at FlightRadar24, there are no jets except for the ERJ 145
Great, that’s perfect. The first one seems to be tagged as 2020 but actually it applies to 2024 too. The second one is the bug, and bug logged. Completely missed it.
Edit: just to err on the safe side, I see the second one has the msfs 2024 tag and bug logged, but can’t see it in the latest development update. Is it actually bug logged for 2024?
Both real time traffic and AI traffic is still badly broken in the Sim. Don’t expect it to work for a few SU updates. You haven’t noticed GA aircraft and sail planes parked at gates? Yeah, it’s broken.
