Hello!
After a few weeks of being rock-solid I’ve run into some recurring issues with the A32NX that are puzzling. I’m not sure how to address them, so if anybody has any advice I’d greatly appreciate it!
~~
The first issue is where the flight computer is adding in loop routes to the flight’s route. I’m importing a Simbrief flight plan through the MCDU Menu’s INIT Request, which is usually correct until I add in Departure and Arrival information. After this it will sometimes stick a long, loopback route in after the SID’s termination waypoint, and if left on its own the plane will fly this route instead of the straight route shown on the Simbrief preview. There aren’t any discontinuities when this happens, and the F-Plan page reads the correct sequence of waypoints.
Below is an image of the most recent occurrence. This was leaving KDFW and you can see the “loop” section to the left of the normal route. The only thing I can think of that could be causing it is the waypoint at the bottom of the loop being in the wrong place in the Sim, so the route generated loops back to this point. I didn’t try to remove that point to see if this fixed it.

The second issue is an LS Mismatch error when inputting some ILS Frequencies based on the Navigraph chart. In these situations, I’ll choose the Arrival and Approach and then look at the RAD NAV page to check the frequencies. Sometimes this frequency doesn’t match the IFR plate, but giving it the plate’s frequency kicks an orange LS Mismatch error. Usually when this happens I just use the programmed frequency and it works just fine, but this seems odd.

The last problem is similar to the loop route problem but specific to STAR and SIDs chosen from the Flight Plan page. Every now and then these will produce multiple route lines around the destination airport, usually with one showing the right route, one a straight line off to nowhere, and one circling all around the airport. Unfortunately I don’t have a screenshot of this but I’m sure I could get one.
Again, any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!
