Recommend me a 2024 aircraft without bugs

Well you can land but then the engine malfunctions and you can’t move ever again.

Maybe a person shouldn’t be flying a plane that they cannot land
without an Autopilot to do it for them.

It is one of the best aircraft in the sim. I fly this extensively and I can’t believe the level of detail that is available in the MFDs. I am currently flying this around Australia and will probably do a world trip in it.

I’ve been flying the Dornier Seastar. The taxi and landing lights don’t seem to emit light, but other than that the aircraft is excellent.

It has the occassion to indicate an on again off again Stab Trim Runaway message during normal flight, but the dev has already acknowledged this, which is encouraging.

I got bored of the problems with the twin otter soi turned to the 737 max. From an autopilit that wants to dive you intoa field to an autopilot that wants to… Swim?

Weird, I used the 737 Max 8 to go from LAX to SFO the first day the sim launched once servers came back online and it actually worked flawlessly. Have not had a chance to get back on since launch day, please tell me things are working better?

Also, are the issues with the DreamLifter and 747’s fixed as far as the HORRIBLE textures in the cockpit, and weird graphical glitches with the engines?

I am currently having a blast in the a330. If there are any bugs, they are nothing game breaking.

737MAX8, A330 …
is NOSE STEERING AXIS working properly?

Checking back in after a few days. It’s not exactly a long list, is it? Now that they seem to have the sim stability and an availability under control a bit more (no, not for everyone, I know), I hope they can shift their attention to fixing bugs, not least with the planes in the coming weeks and months.

On a technical level, maybe a few of them I would qualify as good, a few are bad, and the rest are merely adequate. Given that there are quite a few aircraft, on average I would say the offering is pretty poor at the moment, sadly.

Specifically, I’m not talking about whether they’re high fidelity simulations (avoiding the dreaded ‘study level’ term), I don’t think anybody expects that. I’m purely looking from a functional standpoint.

Since a lot of these were contracted out to third parties, I do hope they get the attention they deserve. I’m a little worried about this, if the previous efforts with Local Legends and Famous Flyers (also all contracted out) are anything to go by.

In the TBM, you need to push the door handle all the way down until it latches. Quite unnerving when the door seems closed but flies open in flight! :tornado:

So far the only aircraft I have not had issues with is the C172…. The G1000 version, the steam gauge one doesn’t work. :(. Even the hot air ballon causes CTDs…. :frowning:

The only plane I have flown without issue is the x cub. Unless you count how poorly taildraggers are simulated in this game.

The TBM is great.

The B738M is horrible. Doesnt even have external lights, so no night time flying.
And it has serious flight model issues.

The Norden is good. The autogyro is good. The Xcub is good. Cowansim R66 is good (few weird things). Cabri is fine.

Hi Raul,
How do you reload, re stream, a plane that is already in game ?
Do I delete from streamed packages folder ?

I haven’t looked at all the aircraft, and I haven’t completed a full flight yet at this whole thing has dampened my desire to fly. That said, the Longitude is one of the few aircraft I’ve looked at that seems good. I can’t get the external lights to work, but I’ve had that issue with every airplane so far. The Draco X seems ok too. Nothing else I’ve looked at has been good, although I’ve heard the Vision Jet works well.

Ahh thanks! I’ll have to try that.

Clear the rolling cache, restart the game.

Eric told me on devsupport the capabilities to download locally a streamed package (aircraft and others) is coming soon.

Best,
Raul

So< it doesnt work fine …

That depends on your definition of “fine”.
Have you had any discussions with your significant other lately and heard them use that word?
