I’ve scaled mine to 125% I can read webpages, menu icons and as far as productivity, Word, Excel works well.
Future proof yourself.
DO NOT get a 1440P monitor. Everything is moving to 4K.
The refresh rate is not as critical as people make it out to be!

So you would rather get 4K than a curve for immersion in the sim (I don’t watch videos on my computer)?
I have a 3080TI so I know could do 4k although I’m running an “older” processor which makes me nervous ( i7-7700K) , but not sure it’s worth it.
normal yes… there is no GPU in next 10 years coming which can drive MSFS in Ultra at a 4K monitor with 165fps 
Therefore FPS junkies should better stay at 1440p and buy in some years a new monitor. Other users I would also recommend 4K ( not these marketing gag monitors with 165fps and horrible price tags), but of course only if the existing hardware match ( GPU, etc. )… ah, and my old eyes show me a difference in 4k vs 1440p.
The sim looks simply stunning on a 4k LG 48" OLED. My 3090 doesnt like it though! I can still run at a locked 40fps with most settings on High and some on ultra which is good enough
