Recover from physical crash

Can you recover in place if you crash your aircraft – other than reloading your flight plan and starting over? What does repair/refuel do and how do you use it?

What do you mean by crash?

  1. If you have crash damage on it will restart the flight.
  2. If you don’t, you can upright yourself by using slew mode (Y+F4 to go up, F1 to go down, etc)
  3. There is no repair button as crash damage is not visually modeled. Refueling is independent of crashing.

If you enable developer mode and go to the options menu at the top of the screen which comes up when developer mode is on, there is an option to tick that disables crash damage.

Or… you can go into assistance and theres a tab that disables it without enabling dev mode and loosing logbook hours
