Refund process for Addon purchase

Hello everybody.

Could you give me the procedure to ask for refund.

I have bought Yesterday France VFR LFMB.

That was a disaster . CTD all the time … And poor quality…

You need to contact the MS Store.
Once on that site, select the help function, lower left.

This is where I disagree with the current policy. Right now (on Xbox at least) Marketplace purchases are like playing Roulette at the casino. It’s a gamble. You don’t know whether the third party add on you just spent your hard earned money on is going to work or not.

Microsoft then points the finger at the devs saying that it’s not their problem, it’s a dev problem. And the devs point the finger at Microsoft saying they have no way to properly quality control test add-ons in a live Xbox environment.

So ultimately it’s the consumer that gets screwed out of their money if the add-on doesn’t work. That’s why Microsoft needs to either 1) put a policy in place that allows refunds within a certain window; or 2) Give the Devs the proper tools to properly QC test their add-ons for Xbox before release. Until then, I would caution all Xbox owners on buying marketplace add-ons as right now it’s like playing a slot machine.

I only use add-ons that are free now.

Between the lousy quality of some of them and the complete unreliability of the sim from one day to the next, I ain’t spending one more thin dime on this “simulator”.

Never mind a wish list, here in the EU, selling things with no chance of a refund is illegal, ask Steam how that went over for them. You can’t just sell people poor products and then shrug.

They have no control over MS policies.

We all know they read this forum and don’t stand in front of a multi billion dollar corporation that won’t refund $15 addons that suck, it diminishes us all.

OP go ahead and request the refund anyway. I bought KBGR a few months ago and it also was very poor quality. Jetways not working, ramps not done properly, etc. I requested a refund and received it in about 5 minutes.

I always do my research and check reviews and YouTube videos to see what I am getting. No refunds is fairly normal in the industry. In many cases they can’t stop you using the software even after you receive the refund.
