Yeah, doesn’t seem to be the behavior of other discovery flights. These ones are different from those ones though, in that they do have a flight plan. I am guessing this could have been part of the original concept for the Discovery Flight mode, guided AI tours.
Could it be re-released but in a category other than discovery flight?

Weekly events seem to have stopped since the Xbox launch, so there is no longer a need to update this release.
Asobo, WHY? Why would you make the FA/18 “Discovery Flight” only available after 4 hours of logged flight time when the flight log has been broken for over a year. I have nearly 2500hrs recorded on Steam for MSFS since Aug '20, yet in-game i have a total of 1 hour of logged flight time that went up to about 200 in Oct '20 and then completely reset itself and hasn’t worked since despite multiple reinstalls etc. JUST GIVE US THE ■■■■ CONTENT.

I have fixed the link, though this has not been updated since July 28th, 2021. I imagine those old events should still work in the current build of the game, but I do not have plans to update this further.

The free “Spotlight Events Pack” includes all 9 challenges from the fan-made release, along with 4 more events. I’ve listed the event title from the game, along with the location where it can be found in game.

The pack that I downloaded from the Market Place with these old missions has the New York east coast mission. I can’t believe that it still has the same crash bug in the same place over the Hudson River that it had when it was originally released! Incredible!

Perhaps this package is no longer available. The last time the OP posted in this topic was in December 2022: “…I do not have plans to update this further.”
