Probably unrelated to this mod, I reported this same issue to Zendesk a few days after launch.
The distance in the flight plan is absolutely bizarre and useless. On the team weāre working on replacing it but itās a challenging job. Iām sure all of us on the team could rant for days by now on the flight plan code

You can get around this by putting the zip file in the community folder and then extracting the files directly from WinRAR into the community folder (instead of copying and moving them from elsewhere).

I have to say - what you are doing to G1000! Big kudos!
I was just wondering - is there any option to access the softkeys (and other keys) from outside the sim?
I am looking for options of physical buttons to drive the G1000ā¦

Not simply, no, unfortunately. It might be possible at some point to do with FSUIPC, but I donāt know if FSUIPC 7 is up to the point where it could mange that yet.

Asobo havenāt connected any of the Gx000 assignments to any of internals or the systems yet. I suspect this wonāt happen until we also get access to local variables, probably when the SDK is in a fit state to actually develop complex aircraft and systems. Come back in a year seems to be the general consensus on stuff like this at the moment.

Is it possible to quickly Direct-TO to a waypoint in the flight plan with just selecting it somehow and not needing to dial it in?
If yes, how ? Or it this functionality missing ?

Iāve tried to do this myself unsuccessfully. If I wasnāt in love with the visuals of this game Iād wait a year for all these things to be fleshed out in the sim. But I just canāt fly anything else atm so I guess Iām dealing with work arounds for a while.
IIRC this is a conflict with the WT G1000 mod. I think it was fixed in the latest version.
Am I correct in the fact that this mod makes the terrain on the PFD dissappear?
I am not seeing it on the TBM9ā¦
There is a setting for that at least in the Bonanza and DA40, on the bottom soft keys -> PFD -> Synthetic vision.
Disabling the synthetic vision gives you a noticeable FPS boost too.

The default has never had oneā¦and itās super annoying (at least to me for precision approaches).
Additionallyā¦and very minorā¦any way to edit the CRS value color? Itās magenta even when using a VORā¦should be green.
