We can’t wait to introduce the Warbird Community to MSFS’ highest quality character to-date!
Love it! I’m in.
Are there any plans to expand the series?
Old timey airline pilot. Aviatrix. USAF/USN/RAF. That sort of thing?
Aw man, no chihuahua?
Is there plans to expand on this?
I know why you’ve gone with that price but only 2 models feels lacking.
It would also be nice to maybe have a British model and maybe one of color to represent the Tuskegee Airmen.
We will be expanding into more packs. Glider Pilots, Airline Pilots, Modern Fighter Pilots, Luftwaffe, Holiday Packs, Helicopter Pilots, British Pilots, Historical Pilots, War Heros, Racing Pilots, Bush Pilots, Etc… Maybe even a Seb and Jorg haha
We plan on mixing a variety of free to download packs with premium character packs. Some packs will be larger and include plenty of race/gender variety like Commercial / Airline Pilots, while some will be narrowed down to a couple characters like our Valor pack focused more on a niche variety.
We do not plan to expand each pack beyond the initial release. If we add more Streamers, WW2 Based Pilots and Animals in the future, they will be labeled as a their own pack. This is because we are planning on releasing “Volumes” to the Marketplace. Volume 1 will include Valor, Man’s Best Friend and Streamer for $4.99. That way marketplace owners get all 3 packs for the price of just Valor. This is because the marketplace doesn’t allow freeware.
Our focus has always been aircraft and unless the community really enjoys these Avitars, our focus will still be aircraft.
Hope that makes sense and we hope that everyone enjoys our Avitars. As mentioned on our Discord, we are not pushing hard right now on more Avitar development until we see the community reception post-release.
Cheers!
I hate the idea of Avitars! Please stop the insanity and make AIRCRAFT!
Maybe I should add a /s hehe
I would say “make whatever sells” as sales volume is the true measurement of what the MSFS community wants - as any successful developer already knows.
Thanks for that update!
What bout Otto? Every one uses the Otto-pilot…
I think this has already existed on flightsim.to for a while.
True, but GF would make a far better representation, and you’d be able to have Otto as your pilot, and not just your co-pilot….
As a note, I currently have a Huskey as my co-pilot…
Excited for you guys see the full roster of freeware avatars we created. Going to be an awesome addition to the sim to finally have some detailed & animated pilot avatars that can grab yokes, move rudder pedals.
Completed work on the first 5 a couple days ago, and done an additional 5 for the next pack post release day. Wont announce who will be in there but there will be one individual you all have grown to know and love very well over the years of MSFS as he has had some of the most vital contributions to many of the aircraft you fly daily.
Will be quite amusing seeing him in the co-pilot seat, judging your every input.
In our beta we had mentions of just taking the helmet and goggles off a characters face for a variant where oxygen and sun protection is not required. We put a vintage headset on him and named him Arthur Johnson… One more last minute Avitar joining the Valor family, with a little extra jazz on his shirt and pants.
Cheers
Just standing against the backdrop, when I first saw the pic on my phone I thought it was an actual person!
Nice job!
I was trying to place the jacket. It’s not quite an RAF Irvin. More of a M-445 Naval winter flight jacket.
Pic borrowed from Internet.
I know that this is a generic model. Just fun musing about the topic!
Please Welcome:
To the Valor Family!
Hope you consider a repaint able nametag en maybe some patches?
