@B4Gunner … what is the recommended setup for the 530 GPS units? With the WTT mod installed the PMS 750 works fine but the 530 says “No GPS found” (I get this error on a few aircraft, not just the Camiar 480) .
The recommended setup is exactly the same as if you were using an Asobo aircraft with the GNS530, this goes for both PC and Xbox versions.
As far as the PMS50 GTN750 and TDS GTNXI go, I would suggest asking them for any support as they are integrated internally for the Camair 480 using a default setup with a flick of a switch - That switch disables in the code any working functionality of the other two GPS units that are not active(Hence, why it needs to power back on).
Also, I have heard issues recently of the WTT not being able to find the satellites and thus making the GPS null in multiple aircraft. I know its not my plane, but I will look into it for you and reply if I find anything. If there is something on my end I need to do to make it function correctly, I will address it in an update.
For PMS50 the Camair 480 was the 1st plane to have the WTT native with the GTN750 mod. I hope that explains it for you. I flew the Camair 480 yesterday and tested all 3 GPS units and didn’t have any issues, but that doesn’t mean there might not be any. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Edit: I looked into the GNS530 Satellite issue and found that some users just needed to update the GNS530 mod to fix the issue. I found that here in the forums, but it was hard to find.
if you have the GNS530 compatibiliy mod installed, be sure to update it to the latest version: WT GNS530 Compatibility
Just bought the aircraft and I am currently having problems with it. Upon the starting the aircraft the GNS530 will turn on but once I switch to the GTN750 or GTNXI the screens don’t work. I have tried switching screens before starting the aircraft and also switch screens after it has started the turned my avionics off then back on but only the buttons light up and screen doesn’t turn on.
Anyone have any advice or know what I’m doing wrong that the screens on the GTN750 and GTNXI won’t turn on at all?
There are a lot of issues on multiple planes with compatibility between old and new 430/530 and with the aftermarket 750s.
Updating to the latest 530 compatibility fix and deleting the oldest WT 430/530 addon worked for me. You just need to experiment.

Thank you for your purchase. And yes there is a known bug that if you have an outdated version of the GNS530 mod from the official marketplace , it might not work as expected.
Also some time ago, not to confuse you, but I had released a version of the WTT MOD to go with the Camair for the PMS50 GTN750 mod. Make sure to delete that WTT MOD all together if you have it(probably not).
The Camair has been native to the WTT and was the 1st plane to do so, specifically with the PMS50 mod. The TDSSIM mod for the GTNXI is also update-able. As far as any mods for the GPS units go the GTN750 and GTNXI will not work together if you have them both in your community folder/ addons linker. It’s either one or the other not both. However the GTN750 works with the GNS530 as does the GTNXI, but once again not if you have both GTN750/GTNXI mods installed a the same time. The AP will bug out and the GPS becomes unstable and may cause a CTD if both are installed at the same time - That goes for any aircraft.
Lastly, if you have updated the GPS units you should be fine. If not, then its another mod conflicting with the Camair, this is pretty rare, but I do know some exist.

I picked them up in the sale last year and I was disappointed in both. I’m not normally one to discard after just a couple of try outs but I removed them. My expectations were obviously off Generally I don’t fuss over textures, opening doors and other non essential features but these are what I would class as low quality. If the flight models would have been really good they would of survived but alas they didn’t impress much either. Just my opinion of course. Hope others have had some joy out of them.

Only thing continuing to hold me back from buying this is the panel. What is the reference? It looks at least 50% too tall, like no real world panel I can find. It’s true of all of the Navions, not just the Twin, but the Twin is certainly the most confounding to me.
Not knocking the amount of work that clearly went into this, but I would love to get an update one day with an accurately modeled panel (I know instrument placement varies with upgrades, but the panel itself was never that tall with so much wasted space.)

The Camair 480 Twin Navion was actually the very first aircraft I ever developed for MSFS. It was my introduction to 3D modeling, panel setup, gauge logic, and everything else that goes into bringing an aircraft to life in the sim. The panel layout was based on a real Temco D Model Riley Twin Navion, which had a tall and wide IFR-upgraded panel:

It’s not a fictional panel — but it was my first attempt at cockpit modeling, and I’ve learned a lot since.
After that came the Navion B, which marked a big leap forward. Better references, more experience, and more attention to detail. You can see the difference in both accuracy and proportional refinement:

Finally, the L-17B was based directly off Simon’s aircraft, with accurate placement down to textures, panel labeling, and cockpit layout. At this point, I was deep into realism and cross-checking everything:

So you’re absolutely right to notice the difference — the Camair panel looks oversized because it is in comparison to my later work. It came from a real aircraft, but my modeling experience has grown immensely since then, and that’s reflected in each subsequent release.
I’m always open to revisiting older projects, and a refreshed Twin Navion panel is something I’d definitely consider down the road if there’s enough interest.
