You really need to use the air brake when flying this beauty, itâs almost like you are flying a rocket when you come in to land. Ha ha

does someone own the DC Design F4 too?
There is no real manual added and I would like to understand how systems work.
Can anybody help?
This seems to be the same issue with every ac they publish.
Also, I think this ac has very weird flight behaviour especially when following
DC Designs landing speed.
The ac stalls at this speeds and a carrier landing is nearly impossible with no payload!
Does anybody else encounter this issues?

I also have the issue you talk about at full flaps. If I just set it to the first notch of flaps itâs ok.
Then I have to keep my eye on the AOA indexer and the landings turn out ok. If the top arrow lights up just before touch-down, it bounces. That is understandable.
Ok I will try but seems unrealistic to me.
Do you know how to set a course and use ILS?
They supply nothing that is useful to learn about using this ac instruments.
Same. The flight model, at approach speeds with gear and flap, is really out. I need reheat to hold attitude and stop a massive rate of descent!

Re the full-flaps issue: We solved it. Jack found that MSFS wasnât reading the drag-coefficient of full flaps correctly, causing a massive increase in drag at full flaps which of course then pulled the airplane down. Now fixed for the first update, which will roll out ASAP for everyone.
For now, using half-flap gives the desired results for landing so just go with that for a few days until the first update rolls out.

I think it was mentioned as being a bug on the DC Designs discord - hopefully a fix will be out before too long.

Flaps are being adjusted as they are a little to high on the drag factor. also MAX landing weight is 36000lbs
it does not have ILS it is a pre ILS era air craft
I missed it if it in the manual. Can you get a view from the rear seat?
