We are still working on the Optica. We feel it is very stable in SU9 so its not our primary update. When our team updates aircraft, we like to include many features instead of releasing small fixes every week or so. Right now we are working on modern flight physics, but being a rear ducted fan, it’s taking longer than usual. Once we get those settled, we will add the other changes and release a new update. Like I mentioned though, the Optica was stable SU8/9, so our team focused on fixing the Got Gravel Aircraft, Mykrode Aircraft, and Gee Bee R3. Please keep in mind our team is not a Development Company but a Development Group. Got Gravel, Mykrode, twoseventyinc and myself are working on many seperate ventures. Gravel is a team member of Flying Iron, I’m the founder of Flight Simulator Freelance Society, while Mykrode and twoseventyinc also work with other developers like HCG and his Mosquito Helocopter. The problem with Microsoft Flight Simulator is the ammount of game breaking changes that occur each Sim Update. Most the time for developers, its 1 step forward 4 steps back. The more aircraft that enter our hanger, the longer it takes to sort them out every update. Just know this project is not dead, the Optica is being maintained and will be updated when we are 100% sure the quality meets the goals we set.
Thanks for understanding, here is a list of what we are working on so you have full transparency of our teams workload:
