Hey, Jonx and GF team, I know your first aircraft is on SimMarket. Is there a plan for SimMarket release for this one?
At this time, the EA-7 Edgley Optica is an exclusive directly with Flightsim.to and the in-game Marketplace. No plans to expand as of yet, but there is always that possibility in the future. Flightsim.to is an awesome partner and we are honored to be a part of their growth!

Hi Jonx. Here are two autopilot realism changes that aircraft designer can set in system.cfg.
I read about them here - Discord
altimeter_indicator = 1 # use the altimeter inside the KAP140, Pilot will need to set the AP baro
default_pitch_mode =3 # capture the current VS when AP is turned on and enters ROL mode
After this change the AP better simulates the real world equipment.
The captured VS will be the
vertical speed present at the
moment of AP button press.
I edited the cfg and tested these changes on Optica. You may want to consider them.
There are lots of other AP bugs but not easy for plane files to fix.

Just got a notification of a new update being available, can’t click the download button yet though.
The update is live on flightsim.to, it’s mainly to fix the GTN750 problem but there are other bits and bobs too:
- Replaced the GNS430 with the GNS530.
- Separate and Removed the GTN750 from the Standard Download.
- Uploaded a new “Edgley Optica: GTN750/WTT Replacement Packaged” to Flightsim.to.
- Removed Swap Systems Knob.
- Snow Skis Now Have Snow Landing/Take-off Physics.
- Added VR Focus and Collision Compatibility.
- Flap Indicator Animation Speed Up.
- Cat Position and Animation Slightly Adjusted.
- Added Lower Belt to Seatbelt Assembly.
- Fixed EGT, Oil Temp, Cylinder Temp and Oil Pressure Gauges.
- Added Got Friends Logo.
- Fixed Various Autopilot Issues including Vertical Speed Bugs.
- Added Companion Switch Save State to load last used Companion Selection.
- Fix Flickering Glass on Exterior View.
- Adjusted Checklist and Procedures.
- Fixed Texture Misspelling Errors.
- Fixed Altimeter Gauge Textures.
- Fixed Turn Coordinator Flashing Tube Issue.

Same problem here. Download button is visible but inoperative. Below the button it says “This order has been revoked, refunded or otherwise canceled.” I’m a bit confused. Opened a ticket with flightsim.to
Strange, for me this was the most effortless, straightforward upgrade I’ve ever had. Hey ho.

the caption “This order has been revoked, refunded or otherwise canceled” was gone and download worked.
Also got a message from flightsim.to that the error was fixed. Very quick service - especially for a Sunday!

A few announcements:

#2: Version 1.0.1. is the PC and Xbox Marketplace Version. It has been exported to Microsoft and placed in the queue for final processing. So don’t worry! You’ll be rocking all the new changes.
#3: As most of you are aware, we chose to replace the GNS430 with the GNS530. We also chose to separate the GTN750 from the main package. This was primarily because we wanted to keep the aircraft as simple as possible when we worked on updates. Xbox doesn’t have GTN750 support, so each Xbox update, I would have to manually strip all the supporting code, models and textures (OUCH!). So instead, we chose to keep it standard across the board. That being said, we have released a “EA-7 Edgley Optica (GTN750/WTT Replacement Package)” on Flightsim.to that can be downloaded by any PC player. It’s Freeware, so regardless of where you purchased the Edgley Optica in the future, you’ll be able to download this optional add-on. Using it is fairly straightforward:

Place the extracted “gotfriends-optica-gtn750-wtt” folder inside your Community Folder to replace the standard GNS530/330 with the GTN750.

Remove the “gotfriends-optica-gtn-750-wtt” folder from the Community Folder to go back to the standard GNS530/330.
Simple as that! This approach was very easy for development and even allowed us to have more optional navigation options in the future, like GTNXi Support, which we are currently working on.

Hmm… would it be possible in the future to not have this as a replacement mod, but that it adds another Aircraft in the Hangar? Depending on the Flight, I might switch between the 530 and 750 version, but now I have to exit the sim, make changes in the Community folder and wait minutes for the Sim to load again and start my next flight.
Other than that, Thank you very much for keeping it updated. I just purchased it this morning and enjoy it a lot!
