And work has started on building the villages - or vici - around each of the forts, to be be included in the first update.
Last week we launched the Official Trailer for Hadrian’s Wall 180 over on our YouTube Channel
Additionally, a we had a wonderful article written about HW180 by Vasco Ferreira over on msfsaddons.com! Check it out
And in other news, tickets for FSWeekend at the Aviodrome in Lelystad, Holland are now on sale.
If you are thinking of going, @RobCap1966 and I will be there again this year with demos of Arrows Across America, Hadrian’s Wall 180 and the next TMD scenery project and we would love to say hello.
Good Afternoon everyone!
We just wanted to provide you all with a bit of an update on things.
Regarding the Marketplace ingestion, we are one step closer to that happening now, so fingers crossed we’ll have the news we all want to see in the coming weeks!
Additionally, here’s a sneak peak at V1.5 for HW180!
@SplitScreen4777 and @PipsPriller. Loving version 1. Looking forward to version 1.5. Many thanks to you and the rest of the TMD team.
Thanks, that’s great to hear. We should have an update soon on another feature for 1.5 that we think you might like!
Hi all, for any UK followers of the thread, we will be exhibtiing at the 2025 Festival of Tomorrow in Swindon this Friday and Saturday (20th & 21st) and it would great to say hello if you are planning on coming along.
The Festival has a packed programme of events combining science, technology and culture and is particularly designed to enage young minds so is an ideal half term outing.
Time Machine Designs will be there with Hadrian’s Wall 180, a chance to build your own Iron Age Hillfort using assets from our next release (did we mention that yet?) and the opportunity to fly over Swindon (or anywhere else) to find your house.
See you there?
@PipsPriller Hope the festival goes well for TMD. Wish I could be there, especially for the preview of your Hill Forts project.
Thanks, and sorry it is a bit too far for you to drop in!
In the meantime, we have just launched the dev blog for the Iron Age Hillforts project so we will keep you updated there.
@MeusMagister we had a great first day with several hundred children and parents queuing up to fly Hadrian’s Wall and to try out building a hillfort.
@PipsPriller TMD’s animations of Hadrian’s Hall and Iron Age hill forts should make learning early British history a lot more fun for kids. Do you have one or more Bristol schools lined up to test the pedagogical utility of your models? I image that there may be a few professors and post-graduate students in Bristol University’s School of Education who would like that as a research project.
Good morning everyone!
Time Machine Designs now has a mailing list!
With this mailing list, we’re going to be sending out monthly updates to share our progress on projects, events we’ll be attending in the future and more! We’ll also send out news updates when there’s big news to share.

I hope so, and that was the sense we had at the weekend.
Via boomsatsuma we do have links with the education department at the University of Bristol, and I am working with folks in the departments of Classics & Ancient History, and Archaeology.
One of my contacts has already used HW180 as a resource in teaching Imperial Roman Culture.
The next step is to identify a couple of schools that would be interested in helping us develop some trial materials.
We are inbound to the Marketplace!
To everyone that has been waiting, thanks for your patience. We will let you know as soon as we have a release date.
And new content for HW180 will rapidly follow.

Hi all
The Time Machine Designs / boomsatsuma team is very excited to announce that Hadrian’s Wall 180 is now available in the Marketplace!
This release is for MSFS2020 on PC and Xbox, with an official port to 2024 coming.
We also have updates on finals to add eighteen Romano-British villages and custom nightlighting.
The release is just in time for FSWeekend in Lelystad tomorrow and Sunday - we will be there with the latest build if anyone is going along.
More to follow through the day.
Thanks as ever for your support.
Pips and the team
Good Afternoon Everyone!
As you may have seen above, we’re very excited to share that Hadrian’s Wall 180 is officially live in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 store front.
To mark the occasion, we’ve just released a deep dive trailer that explains everything you need to know about this world first recreation.
Happy Friday everyone!
Hadrian’s Wall 180 has been released for a week now! We’d love to see some screenshots of your travel along the system, so please do share with us if you have any!
Last weekend we attended FlightSimWeekend at the Aviodrome Lelystad, Netherlands, where we showcased Hadrian’s Wall 180 and Arrows Across America. We got the opportunity to speak to hundreds of flight simmers across the two day event about the work we’re doing to bring the past to life in this new and exciting way.
If you didn’t know, we have an official Time Machine Designs Discord server! This is the number one place to ask questions, get support with our products and more.
