[Released] Hondajet for MSFS

Love the Kodiak. One of my favourites.

To be honest I don’t use the checklists.

After doing the initialisations I just press battery, external power and then the two start buttons and the engines just fire up.

No, this is not correct. Honda could never make a jet that disintegrates in straight and level flight when you apply full throttle. FAA would never approve that. It needs some adjustment. I just flew a second flight and 58% throttle for cruise worked much better.

Just a few hours on HJET in VR, being an old Honda Jet fan for many years; FSX, PD3, I am pleased that we have it in MSFS. Very much appreciated!!! Less expensive flying real thing.

Okay, i don’t know why the External power don’t work for me… And for the checklists, i do it myself…

Indicated Air Speed (IAS)? That’s what the plane reads through the pitot because the air is so thin.

If you look at the True Air Speed (TAS) or Ground Speed it’ll be much higher than the IAS.

Meanwhile I’m another Xbox user that’s been getting lots of CTD with the plane today. It’s back in the hanger for now.

do i really need to add manually all the altitudes ?

Unfortunately that is the state of the G3000. Same in the Longitude

No. I just do the main ones on final and the last waypoint before TOD. Anything in between those the vnav will auto fill the rest.

Most of the problems related here are caused by the “noobiness” of the PIC, and i can understand that because many people who never used a flight simulator before are using this now on Xbox.
Problems like overspeed, plane crashing on runway when trying to take off, weather radar not working, plane not being able to capture glideslope, etc, etc, etc, are all due to the person flying the plane not having any experience with flight simulators and not having a clue how to fly a plane.
I agree the plane has some problems but these are almost all caused by it using the ■■■■■■ default G3000 (bad VNAV, no holds, no visual approaches, almost impossible to do RNAV approaches, etc).

Also , someone says the cockpit textures are bad and I also disagree and think they are among the best I’ve seen in any flightsim, and I fly them for 30 years.

That’s a rather gross generalization.

How about offering help rather than unnecessary and pointless criticism?

Take that 30 years experience and hand over some knowledge to those in need.

People are getting the help they need on the devs Discord. Many with the overspeed problem didn’t even know what true air speed or mach is and the difference to indicated air speed. They wanted to fly at 440kts at 8000ft because they saw somewhere that was the max speed for the plane. Now they know and don’t overspeed anymore.
Same with weather radar not working, for example. Instead of saying that it’s a bug they should ask how to turn it on and make it work, then people would help.
Another one I can’t understand is why are some using the legacy flight model instead of modern. Then they say they crash and blame it on the plane.

When I was young and swinging a hammer for the first time, someone working nearby said, “Who taught you how to swing a hammer!?!?” in the most cruel and demeaning tone of voice possible.

No one had.

I tend to be the kind of person who thinks, instead, “Hey man, let me show you how to swing that hammer. It will make your work much easier.”

I apply the same mentality here on this forum. There is a ton I know, a ton I don’t and I even get confused on things I should or actually do understand.

I’ve greatly appreciated those who have been willing to help me out without judgement of my station.

Yes, people are quick to yell, “it’s a bug” or “the sim is at fault”, but so what? Help them anyway. The difference you can make in doing so is what actually matters.

Who said I’m not helping them? I am, and many are very happy because they are flying the plane now. Ask how to do something instead of saying it’s a bug and people will happily help.

Marwhan built a branch of the WT G3000 complete with coupled (not advisory) VNAV and even a Vertical Situation Display. That’s not the Asobo G3000 by any stretch. In many ways, that’s what the Marketplace WT G3000 will do as well. Personally, that’s a darn good piece of programming by a Third Party Dev to date.

Yes, but it still uses the default flight planning and AP. Until the WT team gives it the same treatment has they did with the G1000, it is not good enough for many flightsimmers.
I agree Marwan did an excellent job with the VNAV though, not questioning that.

I’ve been asking the same question for months.

Did you figure out what was causing this? I’m assuming a mod, but I can’t tell which one yet (I got a lot).

Is someone has a checklist for starting the plane ?

On release vnav would thow me straght down.
Got the updated version yesterday and flew from EGLC to EGCC. Its was just an amazing flight. VNAV was perfect. My speed handling was spot on keeping a little under the red tape and I was at 20000ft in no time.

On approach it automatically flipped to tracking t he ILS.

I fortunately have no issues this aircraft. No CTDs and all checklist navigation, navigraph interaction etc work fine for me.

Really happy I bought this.
