[Released] Hondajet for MSFS

You have to climb at a low rate to make it to 43000 ft probably something like 6-800 fpm for the last few thousand feet.I have no great problems getting to 43000 ft ,actually made it to almost 49000 feet as a test but it was very hard work!

did you see the screenshots i posted? do you have any idea if they are aware of those bug?

another thing i noticed: the resolution on the screen are very bad. Some areas are pixelated.

StupidAccounts,

Thanks, I’ll check into what you mentioned.
Should I use Mach setting instead of Knots?

I understand now StupidAccounts, thanks a bunch!
I am flying at 347 TAS, with 2 knot head wind.

Most of the time CSC will not stay set.

It’s in the secondary screen now under sim options . Same screen you use to set weight and fuel.

Speed bugs work for me. You have to finish the Initialization before they become available. The developer is on the FlightFX discord. He responds very quickly.

i was mentioning bugs as bugs
like KG for Fuel and showing LBS etc..

Imagine a fly walking on the HDG bug that fails to center properly - bug on a bug on a bug

Throttle is still broken.can’t grab it with controller to manually move it. Using controller buttons to throttle up or down will not let you get all the way to 100%. The throttle will move up or down a little bit while you aren’t touching it, acting as if there is an auto throttle (which the jet does not have). If you turn on the AI pilot it can go to 100% but if you turn off AI pilot while throttle is at 100 it instantly drops back to 90 or so.

I wouldn’t class this aircraft as usable yet.

There’s other controls you can’t use with controller like fuel controls.

Hey @graspee
the throttle is managed by FADEC, the engines will not hit 100% as the maximum it is allowed to reach is limited by many parameters… what you need to do is keep the throttles at MCT detent (Max continuous thrust) or TO (Take off) to squeeze the most performance out of the engines..
What you see in the external view HUD is FADEC doing its thing, where behind the scenes it it limiting the maximum the simulation variable can go..

Was able to fly before the beta. Crashes every time on the beta. Also have that center of gravity warning when trying to put more fuel in before I click fly. No matter what I do for fuel or passengers it says cg out of limit

• Rewrtitten AP modes logic for more consistency.
• Code and perfomance optimizations for VNAV draw code and calculations
• Improved tracking of glide slope and glide path and localizer
• Autopilot modes can now use default key bindings for compatability with external hardware
• Landing field elevation is now automatically populated when chosing a destination airport

• VS activation will capture the current aircraft vertical speed
• CSC will now engage more reliably
• Fixed Gyro drift on sync heading.
• Autopilot modes no longer showing when FD is off

Systems:
• Added “CONNECT GPU” to sim options page, now GPU will only show if called
• Corrected “show VSD ” button inverted indicator
• Added clickspot for throttle interraction , one click to take the throttles from Idle to Cutoff and vice versa

• Dissalow entry of the numbers “8” & “9” when setting transponder from right GTC
• Fixed When In Exterior Lights Page, Nav And Com Radios Are Not Clickable And Display Incorrect Values

Flight model:
• Tweaked ground effect during landing for less

Misc.
• Corrected CFG. Entry For Adding VFR Camera To Prevent Ctd

That’s what I’m saying though, the throttle won’t go to TO position. When I talk about percentages i am talking about the lever position not the engine response.

Hopefully in a future patch we will be able to use charts without Navigraph. I’m not rich!

I just loaded up 1.0.4 and first flight when I went to adjust the passengers I notice that the default settings for weight and balance put the CoG out of limits - 26.43 against an aft limit of 26.0. Nothing I can do in that screen moves the CoG into the limits. Should I be worried ?

When I create a flight plan for HJet in World Map, the climb speed is always set at 140kt until it reaches cruise. At this speed with MCT power, the high climb rate quickly puts my altitude way above the flight plan. With less throttle it’s fine but just seems strange to climb so slowly.

Does MSFS flight planning do this for fuel savings (or some other reason) and is it normally how it’s done in real life? At first I thought it was bc 140kt was vY speed but using less power to match the planned ascent makes max climb irrelevant.

Per the docs, you should be climbing at 210kts. After takeoff, engage AP, click FLC, then increase the speed from 140 to 210.

The updated Hjet seems to be causing frequent CTDs on Xbox Series X with the SU10 beta installed. Twice this morning tried to spawn on R24 at ELLX and two CTDs - didn’t get as far as the cockpit view either time. No third party airports installed - only scenery add-ons are three Seafront Simulations modules.
Also had a CTD with the Hjet on ramp at EGBB. Interested to know whether this is just an SU10 beta issue or whether the Hjet update has caused Xbox issues more widely?

Cool, thanks for the explanation. Any idea why MSFS World Map flight planning has the speed set so low until cruise? Is it just wrong or plotting with an expectation of fuel savings perhaps?
