[Released] Hondajet for MSFS

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but the HJet won’t let me set the passenger load I want. It always defaults to full seats of 77kg passengers. Any way to override this?

Just in case anyone’s curious here’s the changelog for the 1.07 update that appeared on the Marketplace.

=========New features/Functionalities=========
(E2 mode)
E2 mode is added to “Sim Options”, once enabled This mode adds the following:
-Fully functional autothrottle
-Additional increased MTOW to 11,100 lbs with increased fuel capacity to 3100 Lbs (vs 2800 Lbs in classic model)
-Automatic deployment of spoilers on landing/rejected take off , The HJET will detect toe brakes actuation and deploy the spoilers untill ground speed is 30kts or below then retracts it.
-FMS/MAN mode added for the AutoThrottles

(VNAV Overhaul)
-VNAV climb and descent is now fully implemented, and will respect user inserted constraints as well as none hard constraints as AT/ABOVE/BELOW/BETWEEN
-VNAV now Auto-loads and follows all published constraints for SID/STARS and APPORACHES
-VNAV logic rewritten with emphasis on smooth transitions from different phases of flight
-FMS Mode will control the commanded speed based on the phase of flight :Climb,Cruise,Descent,In destination terminal area, in apporach and in final,
-FMS mode will also account for speed restriction of 250kts below 10,000 feet
-Enhanced GTC page : “VNAV PROFILE” : Home=>Perf=>Vnav ,Pilot is able to edit the pre-defined speeds of the Vnav profile
-VNV modes now correspond to phase of flight: V FLCH , V ALT , V PATH for climb, vnav alt hold and vnav descent respectively
-When descending , VNAV Path will now add a BOD before level-offs to ensure accurate altitude capture before hand

=========Misc fixes and improvements============
-New livery HJET E2
-Optimised resolution of VSD (3rd party Liveries should be updated to make use of this improvement)
-VR zoom and collisions are now implemented
-Accept initialization button is now function in Initialization page.
-Reset initialization button is now functional in Initialization page.
-Possible fix for the infamous flyback bug ,where the HJET or any G3000 equipped aircraft deviates from expected path when approaches are activated
-Fixed a bug where V speeds would not auto calculate if slightly above MTOW
-Overhaul to AP pitch and roll responses for more smoothness
-reduced ballooning effect of flaps
-revised Icing parameters, to remove persistent ICE DETECTED messages and will now successfuly clear windsheild icing
-improved accuracy of fuel burn
-Revised calculation of VS REQ and required FPA when in VNAV decent, will now give correct reading in VSD
-Approach sim variable is now linked to HJET approach modes for compatability with external hardwares that uses it.
-CSC text now displayed on engine dispalys when CSC (Cruise speed control) mode is active, and is now correctly flashing on disconnect

I  this flying playstation even more now :grinning:

VNAV worked really well for me on my test run, as did the autothrottle. Great work! I did get the flyback bug, though, alas…

Where do I find the “E2 mode in Sim Options?” Not quite sure where I should look…

Going by memory, right touch display, Sim Options button, E-2 button in one of the tabs on left.

The rightmost of the two lower displays. You’re looking for the page with Aircraft Systems, Utilities etc. and you’ll see a larger Sim Options button at the bottom right. Go into there and then the Sim Actions tab on the left, from there you’ll see 8 options/buttons including opening doors, ground power and the one you’re after E2 Mode Auto throttle. Thankfully once selected it persists, so you don’t have to set it every time you fly the aircraft.

Got it…thx!

You have improved on near perfection, and this little bird is now a dream to fly! Love it! Have to get used to approaches all over again, because you can fly the A/P almost right down to the threshold.

Yep, but don’t get too slow on approach or you’ll end up doing what I call a Space Shuttle approach with a high AOA and not maintaining the G/S.

What I’m loving are the VNAV departures, obeying the departure constraints and then powering away when the restriction ends, just like we have with the airliners.

The only thing missing still is the ability to select runway for approach without approach procedure. I think it’s called visual approach in Garmin world which is there in all WT mods.

Why does the vertical path indicator shows me at 32000ft when I’m cruising steady at 40000?

This plane has really made fantastic progress. In future development, it would be great if the full PFD and the full MFD could pop out on a second screen for use with Air Manager. Currently the left part of each screen doesn’t pop out.
Thank you.

Bugs are reporter on the Discord server

No the WT G3000 Mod does not do this… this is the same G3000 Mod. It will all be solved when AAU1 releases and the documentation is finalized so the custom HJet pages can be integrated.

management of the HJet loadout is all done from the GTC initialization screen. it will also persist from your last flight.

The flight planning doesn’t even allow selecting an approach without a transition. Oftentimes the VATSIM controller clears for approach somewhere through the STAR but the plane wants to turn back to transition waypoint when approach is activated. Shouldn’t be a rocket science to fix this atleast.

Yes And most of this will be resolved after AAU1 .. However until then we have to deal with this in the same way that we have had to deal with the WTG3000 in the TBM and Longi for 2 years now …

1 – Use Heading Mode to get you going in the direction that you are being “changed” to.. Just like in the real world when I get given a change to an arrival or approach that is not loaded in my GNS-480 It is easy to ask for an initial heading while “updating the box”…

This also is useful since then you can Activate the Leg or do the Direct to the waypoint that is on the STAR/Approach they want you to navigate to and then enable NAV mode while intercepting the Leg or waypoint direct to.

2 – It’s not Rocket Science it’s actually Aeronautical Science though… The Navigation system is still based on the MSFS2020 Flight Planning system under the hood that drives the GPS and lateral tracking of the plane. WT had been with the G3000 trying to “fix/work around” this and finally, as seen from the G1000NXi, stopped trying to Fix it and instead rebuilt a flight plan manager from the ground up that can do all the things navigation wise the real ones can do.

We are in January now .. it’s only going to be a little more time for the AAU1 update to finish and release. With that and the (unreleased at this time…) documentation the 3rd party devs will be able to turn around updates containing all of these solutions along with all of their custom plane specific pages and changes.

There is a new plugin system and it is really cool but since it is not released there is no Git Repo and there is no documentation since it is not released.

Any plans to make SID / STAR waypoints delete-able in the flight plan? I can delete non- SID / STAR waypoints that I have entered, but can’t get rid of SID/STAR waypoints that are part of the arrival departure.

I’m 90% sure that deleting fixes from SIDS and STARS is possible in the new G3000 refresh Beta, coming soon for H-Jet once it comes out of beta and the H-Jet developer integrates it.
