Continuing the series of Maine airports, here’s Wiscasset Municipal Airport on the coast of Maine, situated between Brunswick (site of the old Naval Air Station) and Rockland, among the beautiful islands and peninsulas on the coast of Maine. It’s a popular summer and fall destination when 70% of its traffic transits the airport, but also has a number of full year residents. The airport has both tie downs and hangars for parking, and reasonable prices for 24 hr self-service of both 100LL and Jet-A fuel (fill up at the Fuel parking spot by the fuel tanks on the north end of the main tarmac). It also has on property AWOS. The nearly 4000 ft runway was recently redone as of 2022, and at that size it can handle a variety of traffic from props to jets. I keep hoping somebody would release an addon for the lighthouses of Maine. I imagine that would be quite the project, though
