Finally some fluffy animal companions in the cockpits, wonderful!
The idea is absolutely awesome and I love it!
A cat in a cockpit? That seems like it must be part of a phrase, somewhere in the world.
Anyway, brilliant idea.
Be cool to see a cat on the dashboard all sprawled out and scrunched up to the glass!
Even if not, this companion mod is a great idea!
Sorry, couldn’t resist …
My dog is a Jack Russell, but any kind of dog as a copilot would be awsome.
The cow thing was just for fun, I really don’t want a cow in the cockpit
Now I’m imagining a DC-3 with a few cows in the back, all mooing…
I suppose better than having to duct tape humans!
^^ Now that’s funny right there ^^
Awesome idea!
You could even have a chihuahua that reacts to turbulence!
As always, thanks Jonx. You and Got Gravel have been my inspiration to learn Blender, learn MSFS SDK, and build my own aircraft to release to the community. I may have questions for you at some point, but my aircraft is about 85% or so finished in Blender and I’m about to tackle getting the multitude of steam gauges working in MSFS.
Anyway, I’m partial to Belgian Shepard.
OMG, I saw the bent ear and never really figured he was a Shepard. Lol, we like comebacks anyway.
hell yes. Can we have an Anxious shaking german shepherd? it would be nice to practice with while im build my CH701
Early on, Flying Tiger Lines developed a specialty in transporting animals, including racehorses and, on one promotional tour, Borden’s Elsie the Cow.
There are many stories…

So it’s great to start with dogs, but after that…
Hmm, not much of a preflight, eh?
In fairness, probably not a part of normal procedures, at least 'til then: Check inside wing structure for feline…
Have to say he did a great job of staying calm and getting it back on the ground once he noticed what was going on.
The cat did a great job, too…
His wings look translucent, so, I would think a quick check would have revealed a shadow that shouldn’t be there? Anyway, I’m taking this off-topic… back to the good stuff
Agree!
Now back to our original canine copilot programming, already in progress…
The exact second he sees the cat is so hilarious to me. He handles it like a pro after his nerves take a beating for 0.5 seconds, as a good pilot is trained to do.
Ok, if we’re throwing out suggestions, I have two dearly departed doggos that I’d love to see in my copilot seat one day: A Siberian husky and a rat terrier
how about a bear or penguin ( I know its kinda unrealistic but cute though)
