It also doesn’t help Marketplace win the hearts and minds of customers when threads like these continue to pop up.
He mentioned the SPRING but sadly, it’s way more than the spring. We basically get a P3D aircraft imported in MSFS. Even shades on some parts of the wings are in the texture to simulate shading. I know the aircraft is probably amazing to fly and all but I have my doubts on what’s new compared to the P3D aircraft. I will not buy it a second time unless I realize I’m wrong once we get some 4K resolution proof on youtube. I fly in VR, I need the visual quality of many other 3rd party aircraft. But that’s my personal liking and I know a lot of people will enjoy flying it it is indeed an amazing aircraft to fly!!
Marketplace can only win hearts and minds with quality content. Nothing else counts
That is absolutely not the case, just saying.
That is not the case at all. When the same service that provides you quality gaming content also blocks your email account and file access then that is what counts.
Yeah I understand your point. But what is the other option on xbox when I want to buy a new plane?
You Xbox folks should be a little more realistic of not having access to all addons that release on PC.
MS/Asobo doesn’t dictate a console version requirement for 3rd party addons devs.
Consider the 3rd party devs who do produce Xbox release versions a blessing.
I’m 100% realistic. I’m glad about every plane which comes to xbox and I know it is a lot of work to release it in the marketplace and update it constantly. Especially with SU and no real testing environment. Please tell me then why there can be such a big difference in quality when everyone has the same conditions on xbox.
no offense to the devs. they should simply get the possibilty to test their stuff
I was waiting for this product but… the price and the simmarket exclusivity are both an issue for me.
For the price it will mean it will be the most expensive addon out there, and being that way we should expect the thing to be the best in class in every domains, and that doesn’t seems to be the case right now, but I hope the release will bring some good surprises on this part.
(if you’re the most expensive, you must be the best)
For the SimMarket aspect, I just discovered they have now a desktop app, does anyone have tested it? Does it work well (like the Orbx / Contrail apps)? I really don’t want to have to check, install and update manually any addon: if I pay (and moreover if it’s expensive like it’s the case here) I expect that you don’t waste my time in return.
I personally use Simmarket, the app auto installed…first impression was not happy, they should give the customer a choice to download or not…which I think they have now.
However now I just double click the app like Orbyx and it tells me what updates are available for all the products you have purchased. Prior to this app simmarket only sent emails for updates…if you set your settings for email updates. So personally I have no issues with this. However I know a lot of simmers dont want it on their PC, which should be respected, its personal choice.
Also I have never had issues buying from Simmarket so MD-80 wiil be a buy from me…really looking forward to it. If there are issues with the MD 80 then it’s my problem I made that adult decision to purchase. Be aware simmarket do not offer refunds. So I understand Simmers being cautious before you buy.
At the end of the day the devs have a reputation to keep. So looking forward to this addon to MSFS as well as other aircraft being introduced.
I don’t mind having roughly 5 Sites where I order my 3rd party Aircraft or addons for MSFS.
great video for anyone who can speak German

I have used their desktop app, and I have had no issues with it. Grouping my purchases by orders instead of just a list of what I have (like Orbx/contrail) I can kind of live with. The only thing I don’t like is how what needs to be updated isn’t always exactly clear. It isn’t on par with Contrail/Orbx, but it is miles better than just using the site. They just implemented it, so hopefully they make some changes.
Ok, so went on to their forums and they already have a section for official MSFS repaints. Here is what they have so far:
In a week flightsim.to will have every livery imaginable anyway lol. Can’t wait to see a Veuling MD-80!
I have Friday off as well. Is there any mention of what time it releases at?
the trolls are out in full force. reminds me of avsim. looking forward to this release.
Looking forward to see more of the plane and hear more of it. Textures seem more then passable for me. Tbh i rather have a bit worse textures and great fps then the other way around.
GOing to be a touch decision between this or the 737. I think the 146 is slowly falling out of the picture for me.
Didn’t the post say release is April 30th? That would be Saturday.
I need all three!
