They’re trying to bring it to Xbox, they’re just having ingestion issues they are trying to get worked out between them and Microsoft.
It is obviously on our best interest to make our products available to as many users as possible. Xbox accounts for a large portion of the marketshare, and from a business point of view, there are zero reasons why we wouldn’t release on Xbox.
That said, to release a product on any platform we must guarantee that it is functional and feature-complete. Mission Hub is just not working correctly after ingesting the files on MSFS24 Marketplace. Not on PC, not on Xbox. We don’t know exactly why, but several key functions are not executing as expected. Until this is resolved, we won’t be able to release the product.
Mission Hub is available for Xbox on 2020, as the issues don’t exist on this platform.

Good news for those looking to get Mission Hub on FS24 (Marketplace):
We’ve just approved the release, finally
![]()
Any word on when it will actually release? Was it one of the things meant to be released yesterday and had issues (as mentioned in the weekly briefing)?
It’s been out on the MS Marketplace for a week now ![]()
Oh dang, I guess I’m blind. Was scrolling through marketplace earlier looking for it. Picked up the T-38 and Airshow Assistant. I guess I need to go back and look a little harder, or ask my wife, she’s good at finding things right in front of my face ![]()
Looks like there’s no discount for those of us who bought the MH60 through the marketplace, is that correct.
The bundled option isn’t currently available for 2024, it is however available for MSFS2020.
Just a few technical backend difficulties that are being sort out this week to enable it
How about those of us who purchased the MH60 believing we would receive a discount on the mission builder app when it was finally released?
This whole 20 vs 24 thing is ridiculous. There are aircraft sold on the marketplace 2024 that are 2020. There are 2020 aircraft that can’t be had on the 2024 marketplace and there are “2020” aircraft on the 2024 marketplace with a “promise” of an eventual 2024 update.
I purchased the MH60 as soon as it hit the marketplace believing that when the mission hub came along that I would be able to add it with for the bundle discount. I don’t think I dreamed this up. Did anyone else think that this was the case?
The 2020 to 24 transition, particularly on Marketplace, has been bumpy to say the least. Products that are fully FS24-native and work fine on external distribution have presented multiple errors or blockers along the Marketplace Ingestion and Release process. The Marketplace structure to handle multiplatform releases has been plagued with errors, some of them that exist to this day - for example, products purchased in 2024 will not automatically show up in your 2020 library, unless you contact someone from Microsoft Support Team.
This is ultimately the reason why it took significantly longer to release MH60 and Mission Hub. 2020 and 2024 releases are treated as separate products, but products that need to be “Connected” in a way, which requires various steps to be done in sequence - process that often fails automatically, requiring human interaction for MP team. This also affects “Bundled” products, which is the offering that will include the discount. Additional complexity also comes, as you mentioned, from 2020-native portovers on Marketplace, etc.
To release the MH60 Mission Hub Bundle, both MH and Mission Hub would need to be available on marketplace before the bundled option is uploaded to Marketplace, ingested, and released on Marketplace. This is exactly what we are setting up now, but please note that leadtimes on Marketplace are aprox. 2 weeks from submission to release. As such, the discount will be available for those who previously purchased MH60, but only when the bundled option is finally released.
This is one of the many reasons why it is no longer sustainable to develop for both platforms in the long run. At some point this year we’ll have to cease development of new products for FS20 - Mission Hub will continue to be developed as a multiplatform product, though.
I have experienced exactly those issues you raise with the MP.
2024 products not in 2020 library unless you contct Zendesk.
A Bundle I bought of GA planes not appearing in my 2024 library although I bought them from the MP.
So, everything you say is 100% true.
We’ve been discussing this on Reddit and I feel like it’s not reaching. Using MSFS career mode, it would be awesome to see the inclusion of ferry missions. Just as you start the game ferrying a Cessna 172 skyhawk, the ability to ferry a F-35 from Tyndall AFB to Maxwell AFB for example would be awesome.
Also the inclusion of cargo missions. Those with the heavy endorsement (and later super heavy) could dive into the logistics such as humvees or tanks to and from bases.
Search and Rescue is also on the career mode platform as well. While it doesn’t occur often in the real world, planes do sometimes end up in the water and not the flight deck and need recovered. The helicopter hoist endorsement is already a cert.
The foundation is already there. Even if we couldn’t “buy” a government contractor business, an employee route would suffice. There’s so many military aircraft models and ACs already available for purchase, I and others would like to see this be incorporated into the game without needing to switch to DCS.
On this topic, the Bundled option should be available on Marketplace in the next 24-48hrs.
Just found it in the 2024 Marketplace, thanks for getting it there. Curious, what’s the bundle discount? I already have the MH60. Thanks!
Surprised this didn’t show up under “NEW” when sorting that way…. maybe because it was already on the 2020 Marketplace? I’ve been keeping an eye out for it, had no idea it finally released.
When the MH60+Mission Hub bundle is purchased, and you own MH60 already, the cost of MH60 is subtracted from the bundle price and a discount is automatically applied to Mission Hub.
And yes, will not show up in the “NEW” category as it was previously available for 2020.
Just checked again, still no bundle, hopefully soon! Look for to trying this out!
