This is exciting. Will be looking forward to the marketplace release. In the interim I’ll be curious to see the communities’ feedback on this.

In your video about building a mission, i saw a multiplayer option.

May you do a vidéo about multiplayer mission, and how it works please ?

Sounds interesting. But does it work with any aircraft/helo or just Miltech products?

It’s aircraft-agnostic, meaning you can use any aircraft in the game. It is not miltech specific.

Multiplayer support is very limited at this time. Unfortunately, MSFS has only a handful of variables that are synced across multiplayer, making missions nearly impossible to sync.

The only solution is using custom external servers, which may be a possibility down the road.

On the advanced mission setup tab you’ll find a “Multiplayer Traffic” Checkmark box. If this is enabled, you’ll see MP Traffic on your mission. If both users are playing the same mission, and this mission is completely static (eg. no moving ships, etc), then technically it could be played across MP, with each user executing the mission locally on their system.

The mission hub is one of the best additions to the sim. Hope you continue to support & develop it down the line.

Thank you for the answer.

I hope there will be improvements in this area in the future.

Are the missions shareable? As in, can I download and do someone else’s mission?

Yes: Sharing and Installing Missions | Miltech Simulations Documentation Hub
We are working on a cloud-based solution as well, to integrate to future versions of Mission Hub.

Nice! Do people share their missions on flightsim.to or in any other community locations?

We have quite an active community on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/xNfrdU2jfE

A community member has also created a handy tool to generate missions easier using AI Prompts and drag-and-drop predefined activity-types: https://missiongen.azurewebsites.net/

We are working on a more seamless integrated approach to creating and sharing missions.

Information regarding Marketplace release of Mission Hub
After long weeks of testing and refining, we are finally ready to proceed with the Mission Hub release on Marketplace. We are now in the process of approving the product for release.

That said, we’ve decided to proceed with the release as follows:

  • On the next viable release window, we will launch Mission Hub on PC and Xbox for FS20, as well as PC for FS24. These platforms have demonstrated consistent reliability and stability, making them suitable for a full release. Bundles will be available on release day, or a few days after - depending on the processing times on MS Side.

  • Mission Hub will not be released for FS24 Xbox at this time, as the platform has exhibited several reliability issues that currently prevent an optimal release experience. These issues include: WASM and several major components not executing or running correctly, and mission Information not displayed on the screen. We now have the team at Microsoft looking into this issue as well. At this time we don’t have information as for what the root cause may be, nor a realistic ETA for release, however we continue to work to make it available on FS24 Xbox in the future.

Please understand that these decisions are not made lightly. However, we cannot proceed with a release until we are confident that the product is stable and reliable on the platform. Also keep in mind that FS20 Portover of Mission Hub to FS24 will not work correctly.
