Some of the H-60 still have GPUs and cables in the other users online models in FS20, they weren´t fix in the last update, not a problem but I hope they fix it in a future, thanks.

Great the next H-60 updates, and the CH53 in the future.

This is planned to be fixed on the next update

@CorrelateTuba06 Hmmm, its bad, you dont wanna include such amazing copter in the career mode. There are lot of players like me, who spend 90% or more of time in the career mode. And with this decision, you are just cutting off these players.
I have this copter on my low end PC and dont plan to install any other 3rd party mission editor in the game. Sooo, for me, its now only free flight chilling helicopter :frowning: Please, try to reconsider it. I know, its a lot of work, but according to the stats, you could gain 50% or more players flying with your helicopter.

We highly doubt it is anywhere close to 50%. Maybe 5%.

We may reconsider in the future, but not planned at this time. We are choosing to expand Mission Hub further.

The numbers are not from head. These are numbers shared by MS - roughly 50% players plays career mode.

It would be great, if you would reconsider it as your helicopter is one of the best in game now. I could easily imagine it in some SAR, cargo, VIP or passenger missions. And according to the posts here, im not only one.

Anyway, is there any way how to turn that copilot sounds off? It always scares me when im flying low (on purpose) with “pull up”.

This is not the copilot but rather the GPWS System. You can disable on Keyset/COMM/AUD CONFIG and turn off GPWS

I can’t wait for the Mission Hub to come out on Xbox. The game’s career mode is extremely limited and unrealistic. I honestly think a sandbox mission should have been included by default, but I’m happy to buy it. Hurry!

This Helicopter is perfect for animal world photographer missions. Just activate autopilot and watch for rare animals. I just need two rare african animals to get the “multifaceted photography “ achievement. It seems like this achievement is Impossible to obtain. Lol

Which 2 animals

Hyena with baby and Forest elephant. On Xbox, so i can not cheat…Like PC Users…

These liveries are included in the first official livery pack made by miltech.

An UH-60 A/L package is announced for next year. With an Lima/ Alpha style cockpit. Hopefully they include the the big ESSS pylons with droptanks and weapons.

Do you have a link to this data? I would be really curious to see how it relates to the real world split of fixed wing and helicopter pilots.

IRL, helicopter pilots make up something close to around 2.5% of the active, licensed pilots in the US. It’s a very small number. I would guess that it would be similar in Flightsim. The number of airliner YTers v. helicopter supports that theory. It would be interesting to see if MS can even break down the users by aircraft type.

anyway, if 50% of players are using career mode, would the user data correlate to 2.5% of those users fly heli’s?

Helicopters are certainly a niche within MSFS (which is by itself, a niche community), making military helicopters a niche of a niche within a niche. That said, we’ve seen better success with helicopters and tiltrotors than fixed aircraft, but it is also true that we came into the market when all the popular fixed wings (F16, F35, F22, etc.) had been released.

The best data we have is from Navigraph, which is itself biased to PC, Airliner users. This data is from early 2025 and a lot has changed since then (the spread of 2020 vs. 24 is significantly different now) Navigraph. This data also reflects that helicopters appear to be more popular overall than combat

We generally do internal surveys as well to get data from our community directly, and while we don’t have anything specific from career mode, Mission Hub utilization has exceeded our expectations, so its ultimately a strategic decision to continue to invest to grow the platform, instead of opting for career mode. We want the sandbox to evolve and support multiple mission types, to cater to any type of aircraft.

Regarding the Xbox release, I must admit it has not been easy. We’ve seen (and this happened with MH60 as well) that, perhaps due to the streaming technology, addons that rely on WASM are less reliable and/or stable on Xbox FS24. No issues in 2020, or PC FS24 at this time - those are good to go and approved for release; we are just dealing with reliability of the tool in Xbox FS24.

The Mission Hub is fantastic! I really enjoy the integration with 3rd party aircraft and the flexibility. I haven’t gone to deep yet, but I’m enjoying it so far. I’d really like to see the career mode’s HESLO physics in use, but that’s the only negative I have and it’s not a Miltech issue…

Hopefully…very soon to be released on Xbox.

Even if that’s true, the real question is, what percentage of these are playing career mode just because they are forced to, as missions are only available in career mode? I’m certainly one of those, I couldn’t care less of all those career aspects, all I want is the missions.

How many would play career mode if missions were available outside of career mode?

Exactly 0.4%, a good metric for this is the Steam achievement statistics ( Steam Community :: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 :: Achievements ) “Helo Hero: Complete 50 successful landings at any heliport with no incidents”

Speaking of Missions:

Information regarding Marketplace release of Mission Hub
After long weeks of testing and refining, we are finally ready to proceed with the Mission Hub release on Marketplace. We are now in the process of approving the product for release.

That said, we’ve decided to proceed with the release as follows:

  • On the next viable release window (likely Monday, Oct. 27th), we will launch Mission Hub on PC and Xbox for FS20, as well as PC for FS24. These platforms have demonstrated consistent reliability and stability, making them suitable for a full release. Bundles will be available on release day, or a few days after - depending on the processing times on MS Side.

  • Mission Hub will not be released for FS24 Xbox at this time, as the platform has exhibited several reliability issues that currently prevent an optimal release experience. These issues include: WASM and several major components not executing or running correctly, and mission Information not displayed on the screen. We now have the team at Microsoft looking into this issue as well. At this time we don’t have information as for what the root cause may be, nor a realistic ETA for release, however we continue to work to make it available on FS24 Xbox in the future.

Please understand that these decisions are not made lightly. However, we cannot proceed with a release until we are confident that the product is stable and reliable on the platform. Also keep in mind that FS20 Portover of Mission Hub to FS24 will not work correctly.
