What a lucky day—finally getting a DCS-style mission editor! MSFS 2024 was supposed to go this way from the start, not end up as a broken mess with pre-made missions that don’t even work. And the editor’s price? Crazy cheap! Massive respect to the team for their creativity, quality, and pricing!
From the screenshot you’ve posted of the cockpit it seems to be pretty crowded, so this is asked more in hope than in expectation.
But might there be space somewhere to fit in an optional mount for the GTN750/NXi, as you’ve already done for the CH-47?
Ok, this is pretty exciting. I am 100% looking forward to this.
not on initial release. The avionics suite is fairly detailed and capable.
Excellent description with nice details. I’m all in on this project too. Way to go!
Really looking forward to this. This mission system is what we expected to get from 2024.
Especially love the fact that other aircraft can use it, that was my wish for the Hype mission pack, but that never materialized.
Greetings - have you guys been able to program a workaround for the twin-engine helicopter N2 deficiency as outlined here?
Both Taog and another helicopter dev are struggling with it for their AS365 and BO-105 incoming products respectively. If you have, perhaps offer assistance to them on Taog’s discord channel?
This is both a 2020 and 2024 issue.
This issue does not have any impact to our simulation of the aircraft. We don’t have any sort of individual engine control beyond PCLs (IDLE/FLY), which are controlled differently.
Looks and sounds fantastic, hopefully the flight modeling matches the visuals. Some accelerations and maneuvers in the trailer looked a bit too fast/light, although there might be some speed ramping involved in the video (at 1:11 and 2:22 for example).
IMO those are just sped up video. I doubt with their previous releases they’d allow a helicopter to behave like that and call it a simulation
Looks absolutely amazing!!
Chinook says hi
Should be released very soon…
Indeed just the speed ramping on the video The flight model has been validated by over 6 operators of the type. Its a very stable and forgiving helicopter due to the SAS System.
Just doing a quick status update in here, since its been a while since we have appeared on these forums:
