I just bought the Osprey and the French military airport pack a few minutes ago.
Iâve never had any plans to buy the Osprey, and I normally donât care much about payware airports. But the price is right, and the airports look pretty darn cool!
Picked it up from the Marketplace during the Black Friday sale to use on PC. Looks very cool but Iâve had to uninstall it for now. Doesnât seem to be a widespread issue but for me it took my initial sim load time from 9 mins up to 37 mins
Reinstalled without any luck but Iâll hold onto it in case it comes good.
A 1-2 min loadtime increase is a known issue, as the sim has to load all the code, models and animations.
We are looking at ways to improve this on the upcoming v1.1.0 update

SUPERCARRIER PRO - XBOX, V1.1.0, F-14A, LOADTIMES
Due to the surge of comments and questions lately, weâve decided to respond to some of the most commonly asked questions here:

When Xbox?: Unfortunately not today, but next week is likely. We have recently been doing some final optimizations and tweaks to ensure everything runs smoothly on Xbox. Just awaiting final confirmation from Microsoft that the latest submitted version is good to go for next weekâs release.

V1.1.0, FrenchCDG Carrier, etc.: The update is still work in progress. Carrier modeling/texturing is for the most part complete, and code is quick to integrate. We expect a release around (or shortly after) Christmas. Important note, though: Due to strict licensing limitations, FrenchCDG is not an accurate depiction of any real-world ship, and only intends to simulate aspects of the design of French-built aircraft carriers.

IFE F-14A Engine Issues with Supercarrier Pro: We are aware of this issue. The issue in fact is due to the complex and accurate simulation of the F-14A TF-30 Compressor Stalls, which coincidently triggers with our teleporting system. The issue has been communicated to IFE and a fix is underway. This issue does not affect the F-14B

Long loadtimes after Sim Update 14 (PC): We are aware of the issue and working towards improving loadtimes on V1.1.0. Interestingly, the issue does not seem to affect Xbox.

Do you mean Quick Taxi? or the regular MSFS Slew?
Regular slew, to reposition the aircraft in 3 dimensions. Would be handy to move the jet back to the approach position, instead of launching again and circling back. Instead of flying when leaving slew mode the F-14 just drops from the sky with no chance to recover.
Thatâs an HB/IFE F-14 vs. MSFS issue, though. Not a carrier problem. ![]()

I am having the same issue. I purchased SuperCarrier Pro last week. MSFS load time when I start it increased to over 15 minutes. I emptied my Community folder and restarted but that did not help. I then uninstalled the addon and now load time is back to normal.
We are aware and continue investigating the issue. Seems to affect some users more than others, and only seems to affect PC users. Some PC users donât have any significant increases in loadtime, other report 2-3 mins more, and a handful report these unusually long loadtimes.
For the time being, we recommend using a tool such as Addon Linker (https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker) to deactivate when not in use, and activate the product only when being used.
