Xbox compatibility? If yes, when, if not why?

That was day one purchase. I can’t wait to fly there tonight.

Will be interested to see reviews, I didn’t bother with FeelThere’s as the Freeware on Flightsim.to was better but this one looks promising!

PC Only (At the moment) I don’t think MK Studios develops for XBOX but I could be wrong.

You are indeed, very wrong🙂

Almost everything from them is available on Xbox, we only have to wait a couple of weeks before it hits the Marketplace.

Same here. As soon as I get home instant buy.

Thanks for clarifying, I couldn’t find anything on their website or FB that alluded to XBOX, was all marked as PC.

There you go @twenty4fan9O

Thank you. They should do better at marketing so all audiences can be aware if a product is suitable for them or not.

elude = evade or escape from (a danger, enemy, or pursuer), typically in a skillful or cunning way.

So you mean eventually KLGA will skillfully escape the evil PC and safely arrive in the XBOX arms?

The E. eluded me away from the A.

Corrected

Anyone gotten this yet? The preview video shows it to be extremely detailed including interiors but doesn’t make it clear if those can be disabled, which worries me for performance.

I got it via Contrail, which supports add-on option configuration, but none are shown.

That’s what I was afraid of - gonna be tough for those of us who may have also iniBuild’s KJFK, SameScene’s NY City, RKbridger’s bridges, Drzewiecki’s Newark, etc. I think it’s going to require judicious use of Addons Linker for me if I buy it.

I’ve just finished my first flight to the airport and it’s not so bad. Ok, I replicated Delta Connection flight from Cleveland in CRJ9, which is one of the best performing airliners in MSFS but still I think the airport is well optimized (and MK’s will probably update the airport with some more optimizations in the future). I own iniBuild’s KJFK and Drzewiecki KEWR, I have them both installed and the approach to KLGA RW4 was surprisingly smooth (considering that there’s KEWR on the left side and KJFK on the right side, practically visible at the same time). Things got heavy when I was taxiing to a gate, I guess that’s when the interiors come to play (yes, there is no config in Contrail app for this airport). But I also use FS Traffic and that’s eating some fps too. Anyway, the airport addon is beautiful, I own many of their airports and they clearly stepped up the game. To be honest, I see them as iniBuild’s or Drzewiecki level now. I don’t regret the purchase.

Thanks, that’s about what I figured. I use FS Traffic too, so this info is helpful. I will probably end up buying this scenery - presumably when I upgrade/rebuild my PC late this year after 3 years, any performance shortfalls will be beaten down by Moore’s Law.

Honestly it’s well optimized. It’s a step above BM World sceneries, looks and runs better.

EDIT: I had thought that there was a problem with jetways not working on gates with multiple parking spots, but this seems not to be the case. It appears that there is currently a problem with GSX not being able to control at least some of the jetways, but they seem to work properly when controlled by the PMDG menu or via ATC.

In any case, the airport itself is very well done with highly detailed modelling (including Citi Stadium for Mets fans). At $17.00 this airport is well worth the money and provides a great, immersive KLGA experience.

This appears to be an error in the GSX profile for the aircraft (I ended up buying the airport). I loaded in at gate 47 and although GSX reported “No Jetway,” using the PMDG Ground Services menu in the 737-800, I was able to call a jetway just fine.

EDIT: I was not able to call an operable jetway at gates 51/51A, but I was able to call one at gate 48.

Thanks. That was what I thought too, but I couldn’t get the PMDG ground services to operate the jetway either. Just tried again and now it is working…
