A mod for the default Bonanza G36 has been released.
The mod complies with Asobo’s guidelines for MSFS2024 modular aircraft and does not override the default aircraft. It preserves the default Bonanza G36 by introducing a new variant of the aircraft, allowing you to fly either the default version or the modified version, depending on your preference.
The modified variant appears in the UI as a separate aircraft selection.
Please note that the mod variant is available only for Free Flight and cannot participate in Career Mode or any other pre-defined missions.
Improvements/Enhancements
- Added exhaust heat effect.
- Added exhaust smoke effect when starting the engine in cold weather.
- Added engine fire smoke effect.
- Flight.cfg tuning and enhancements.
- Engine.cfg tuning and enhancements.
- System.cfg tuning and enhancements.
- Redesigned the electrical system.
- Adjusted the ground position.
- Increased the steering angle. It’s not realistic, but it’s helpful in the simulator.
- Corrected the pitch trim for Take-Off.
- Added most of the PFD annunciations.
- Added MFD Engine page, including Lean and System pages.
- Enhanced MFD Engine page gauge displays.
- Added a “cyan climb marker” (white) on the Piston_FFlowGauge to assist with leaning during climb.
- Initialized engine temperatures when starting on the runway or in the air.
- Integrated the default EFB into the VC.
- Adjusted the Pilot camera view to match the static ground pitch.
- Adjusted the Pilot VR camera view.

Wonderful. I was hoping to see your Mod in FS’24 as I fly it often in '20. I’ve not flown the stock Bonanza since. 
Please note that this is not the TN version, but a stock G36 mod (based on my MSFS2020 G36TN). A G36TN variant will be available later.

Why do I have to click on the ‘Proceed to PayPal’ button to complete the order?
This is due to the Checkout submit process. You don’t redirected to PayPal since the order is 0€.
After hitting the “Proceed to PayPal” button you are just viewing the order confirmation page and the button to click and download the zip file.

OK thanks. I fly the G36 Improvement Project a lot, and I look forward to checking out your mod. Having a working EFB should be a nice enhancement. The other things you’ve done sound good as well.

Any way to get this without joining the Discord or registering on the website? Seems like Flightsim.to would be the perfect place for this and I dont want to register and give out my personal info on yet another site, nor join yet another Discord.
Unfortunately, no. The only way to download the Bonanza G36 Mod now is via our Discord server. We have stopped new registrations for freeware products on our website. Registered users who have already ordered the Bonanza G36 Mod will continue receiving updates by logging into their account.
If you have a Discord account, we encourage you to join the server and download the mod. If you do not wish to stay on the server, you can always leave. However, you will need to rejoin to receive future updates.
Since I am not a Discord (disagreement between people) member and do not know much about discord, what do I have to give up to be able to download the G36 freeware, email address and first born or just email address and other personal data. Just guess I am a bit cautious and curious when signing up for stuff.

Thank you, but I will have to pass on this one I guess. Sorry. The advantage of getting a download via a site like Flightsim.to or Orbx is that there is a bit more screening and security and I don’t have to provide my personal info to yet another site, especially one that isn’t quite as well known. As for downloading it from Discord, I just don’t feel comfortable downloading a file from a Discord server (whether it is flight sim related or otherwise), as Discord has a long history of issues with file downloads and security.
I’m not saying that your file would be suspect by any means, but it is a personal security choice that I simply don’t want to compromise on my end. All the best to you.
