100% Agree, I did one flight in the X-Plane Concorde using the INS and that with managing full fuel balancing, managing max climb, etc etc turned a really enjoyable experience into pure stress. It really is a 3 crew plane and trying to do their job at once is stress.
The descent is al a nightmare, as is tracking tracking VOR radials at 250kts, getting the visor down, arming the approach, flying the approach etc etc.. It is an achievement I will say to actually do it, but for me I did not enjoy it and I nearly messed it up!
You can get some help, but ultimately I have not flown it much. I agree this should be perfect in balance
It seems to be the little things that concern me. The screens are one panel too high and shorter in the model. I see a few other things that concern me, like the exit door dimensions or pilot seat dimensions along with 2d circuit breaker panels. There may be different models of this airplane that im simply not privy to.
But, so far the aircraft looks overall very good, just my friendly 2 cents is all. I cant wait to see the reviews roll in. Thanks for the continued updates @DEAN01973. I love how you respond to our comments and handle the community updates. Thanks again!
Yes, still lots of little refinements on-going. The panels I used were due to us testing HUD=1 and HUD=2 projection panels - easier to see when in a box rather than the flat panel of the real Concorde. They’ll be reshaped next week. However, things like pilot-seat dimensions are not considered high-priority to be honest, they seem okay to me generally.
The Corporate Pilot Dad was stuck in Colorado due to a U/S jet ( real one, he’s a commercial pilot ) but he may be back home soon. Also, Just Flight’s test team went through Concorde and some changes are being made based on their observations. Expect the first videos by the weekend though I should think, if all goes well.
Hi
I am for sure buying this aircraft.
The interior looks good especially the kitchen part.
But I do think the cockpit could use some more work as that will be the part most will spend while flying. It looks flat currently compared to the virtual tour shared here.
There will be a full-length preview video in the next day or two. My plan is to have it completed on 3/25 by the end of the day. But thanks to an MSFS update, precious time is being lost.
And also, I would like to ask @TCPD5091 if there is a way to contact DC to request early access for my youtube channel (I would still like to pay for the plane though to support this initiative)
