[Released on PC and Xbox] DC Designs Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde

Seems the same to me.

I didn’t check, personally. I was simply fooling around on the runway to test fuel transfer functionality. But the package Jack provided to test is only some config files and the like to modify the stock Concorde release, so it shouldn’t really change performance of the plane.

I dropped down to single digit frames for the first time ever during my test flight. Wondering if some settings got reset now…

I think that FPS drops on some load ups are a new SU9 “feature”. I had a flight yesterday, pre the Concorde SU9 beta hotfix, where I was getting low FPS upon loading so I just restarted the flight and my FPS came back.

Maybe it’s loading something in the background

Could just be servers overloaded so close to update release day. I’ve had a few CTDs loading in too, but that’s in any plane.

A couple of new features I have noticed with the SU9 hotfix beta update, all nice:

  • Beacon light switch and associated tooltip has been fixed.
  • New ignition ticking sound on engine start up.
  • Digital CofG indicator now matches analog gauge.
  • Trim fuel loads slightly different (more needed forward now), perhaps with the change of the digital CofG indicator?

Taking her out on another spin now from KSAN to KASE. Funnily enough my LNM exported flight plan loaded in OK this time, so not sure what is going on with flight plans but happy it is currently working.

My test shows that the fuel system still needs a bit of work. The standby valves work with some tanks but not others. I think a full test of all fuel transfers needs to be done to make sure everything is working correctly.

Located and fixed!

@mdapol I am assuming the hotfix was published in an attempt to get people flying again, and is a work in progress.

@CodenameJack447 has been doing amazing work, the guy never sleeps. I have zero doubt he will get the fuel system back to where it was or probably running more accurately after this (knowing his work). All in good time.

1.0.1

  • Includes a fix to the ORIDE 11 Valves switches not closing Inlet Valves 9L and 9R.
  • Little change in the GPS DRIVES NAV1 code (@ResetXPDR, if you can check this personally with the issue you are having would be useful, but also with an ILS landing).

@LameLefty @ResetXPDR @CodenameJack447 I woke up this morning to all of this incredible work, thank you all for solving so many of these issues. This is what the flight simulator community is all about

I will PM you all privately soon also.

Seems to be working correctly now.

I just did a quick check and loaded up with two flight plans that gave me grief previously with the RAD/INS and they both allowed me to select INS without the switch flicking back.

I also shot two ILS approaches at KOAK RWY 30, both successfully with autoland. It did put me slightly right of the runway, but no worse than it has before. I generally hand fly ILS approaches so I am not really experienced with autoland hence take my comment here with a grain of salt.

My last flight (subsonic) with the first hotfix beta went smoothly and you’ve now fixed the issues I had with the first flight I did (supersonic full profile), so I reckon the hotfix is pretty close to being releasable IMO.

Thanks very much for fixing these issues @CodenameJack447 so quickly, you’re a legend! :+1:

Much appreciated!

@CodenameJack447 My problem with lateral WX radar screen is solved.

In fact, all MFD in the whole MSFS sim were KO. This was due to instrument GTN750 addon, who needed an upgrade.

Hmm. I have never used the 750 add-on, but if you say that removing it solves the problem, then that mod contains base files that should not be there since they overwrite common base files that are read by other browsers, including ours.

I didn’t removed, but updated to last version 2.1.33 which was adapted to SU9.

Had to install this instrument for my Airbus H-135 helicopter.

EDIT:
Mmm, maybe it is the explanation why I have all these problems with the Concorde vertical navigation ! I will try the Concorde without this instrument installed.

Well, I just downloaded it and I’m afraid, this mod makes a direct modification to the navsystems.js file:

Mod:

pms50-instrument-gtn750\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\NavSystems\Shared\NavSystem.js

Base file:

Asobo-vcockpits-instruments-navsystems\html_ui\Pages\VCockpit\Instruments\NavSystems\Shared\NavSystem.js

Having this mod installed automatically creates a conflict in all browsers that need to read NavSystem.js, since the mod will always have priority over the original file. If Asobo makes changes to the original NavSystem.js, file in each SU, it will affect you, since you will continue reading the mod file. It perfectly explains your problem, and it perfectly explains that even the original screens stop working, because everyone needs to read that file, and it’s governed by this mod. I don’t use it, so it doesn’t affect me. But knowing this, I can already better diagnose your problems as long as the mod developer doesn’t fix it.

Very interesting and thanks for your investigations !

I must say, since the 1st day I had to install this instrument, after an upgrade of the H-135, I had instinctively, a bad feeling about that and with what you explain, I was right to think so.

For sure, I will now throw away this dangerous addon.
