[Released] SF50 Vision Jet G2

Is it just me or is this thing a massive frame rate hog? Have been flying the 414 lately and getting 35-45 FPS. Loaded this up and it dropped to 20. Maybe i need to tweek my settings but ■■■■ thats a huge drop.

Edit: Restarted MSFS and the FPS went back up. As you were.

I really enjoy the SWS Kodiak, but I’m looking for something a little faster to compliment it, mainly for passengers. The TBM would be ideal but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be being updated anymore. Anybody tried out the new Vision Jet by FlightFX? Is it any good? I’m looking for more than beautiful, a good flight model is important to me. (I accept that at this stage the systems may be suboptimal due to G3000 limitations, but hopefully that will improve).

VisionJet is excellent, with a few bugs which are inevitable for any newly-released piece of complex software. Some of those bugs are definitely G3000-related, so once WT releases the update (they still advertise “by the end of the year”), that will be a tremendous improvement. I get anxious every time I enter or update a flight plan in the current version.

Note that the TBM is also slated for an AAU (Avionics and Aircraft Update) to include the G3000, so stay tuned for that.

All in all, the Vision Jet (and the HondaJet, both by FlightFX) are outstanding aircraft in their own right, and I’m happy to support them. They are very active on their Discord channel, with excellent participation from their Devs.

SLING380 is right.. also email… lets wait

I assume you’re talking about the TBM Improvement mod? The official one isn’t being updated but the forked version is working just fine. I suggest you look into that.

Hello,

stock TBM930 is very good to me and with WT G3000 is more better, really very good. After last sim upadte also I noticed some bugs what I reported are solved. To me, TBM930 is best to its type in sim, also enough quick, have good anti ice capability and enough distance range and high altitude option. Just one still not solved BUG from day1 → BARO knob push doesn’t set std pressure but local what is really shame to not have correct functionality.

Could you point me in the direction of this mod?

Love it!

It’s all I’m flying right now.

Extremely addictive.

Good work!

Discord at FlightFX Discord

I don’t ‘get’ Discord.
When I press the link it ‘invites’ me then sends me to the Discord app on a completely different page.

When I do a search for FlightFX on Discord I get no hits.

(I swear, Discord has got to be one of the most frustrating, least intuitive apps I’ve ever used…like they’re trying to be as obtuse as possible.)

It’s very popular in the gamming community for some reason.

Yeah, I see that.

Well OK, I figured out how to get on the server but maaaaaaannnn….could they not make this a little easier?

I “think” TBM 930 is scheduled to get working doors and a CFD flight model in the next official release. If that includes the other stuff like sun visors I do not know. So far, Asobo seems to have something against sun visors, despite how helpful they are.

Anyway, I think the Vision jet will be a TBM 930 killer in the sim.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of Discord…it’s like a video game in and of itself. Or maybe I’m just getting too old. But I do follow both FlightFX and Working Title’s Discord channels.

LOL, even my kids don’t quite get the popularity (or the name) but they use it like crazy. If my kids don’t answer their texts I can get them on Discord.

Is there a way to connect a GPU? The documentation mentions it several times but I can’t figure out how to get it connected.

The documents seems to be all images too, making it not searchable and difficult to read.

Does the Approach mode work for you guys? When i arm it I can see the armed modes in the PFD but it never catches GS or LOC.

Until the next update, you can use a keyboard binding to toggle the GPU.

Bind Ground Power or External Power (it’s one or the other in the Options-Controls menu in the Sim) to a keybind. I use Right-Shift myself since it’s rarely used.

Or - you can be a little cavalier and start the jet on Batteries. On the Bolster Panel, click on BAT1/2 and GEN1/2. Press Strobe for safety to tell the ramp you’re an operating jet about to start engines. Lean over to the left, move the Engine Knob to Run, press the Start/Stop button. Monitor N1, N2, ITT and Oil Press in the EIS on the MFD. Done.
