So I know there is no course knob and the workaround for setting a VOR radial to fly is using ctrl-shift-home and ctrl-shift-end, but does anyone know how this is implemented in the real plane and when we might expect an actual course knob in the Vision Jet?
@MojaveHigh2379 I searched the thread for you. Here you go.
Whateverā¦ā¦
I did search, but not the right terms. Thanks.
No reply. Didnāt know about the Discord one on one feature. Iāll take a look at that as I much prefer that rather than random users jumping in and potentially giving out false information. This is obviously an issue with all public support services such as discord servers and forums.
Thanks for addressing it here and not ignoring it like others seem to be willing to do.
No worries. I was saying that email is one on one. Its actually time consuming and others cant see your response.
If you need to just go in there and DM me. Chances are your question has been answered.
For those interested our discord is forum based for vision. Easier to search and find what you need.
Another workaround is to enter the approach waypoints in manually as part of your flight plan, then enter the altitudes in the VNAV portion. That way itāll catch the GS when entering APR mode at the right waypoint.
Will you please add a parachute function and auto land? You already have the buttons for them.
nice pictures, and your first picture looks like V35 Bonanza with mounted jet engine on top
Canāt add CAPS until WASM comes to XBox because the jet is a shared code base working on both PC and Console.
Yes!!! I love the Bonanza V tail too. It makes sense now.
Iāve been seeing this airplane like crazy in multiplayer.
Worried if I get this I wonāt want to fly anything else.
There are worse problems to have.
Yeah, I kinda love this one.
Yeah, just purchased the VisionJet this morning. Excellent first impressions. Going to be swapping a lot between this and the HondaJet, especially when the latter gets the latest update soon (next week hopefully).
Anyone here tried it in VR yet? Iām always nervous with airplane purchases as most devs donāt seem to do VR testing.
Very Good Light JET
Any Speed Table for this Plane?
Answering my own questing, it does have the typical nagging VR issues The mouse jumps all over the 3D space and doesnāt follow most contours. The buttons on the horizontal surface and the buttons on the smaller screens are especially problematic.
The horizontal switches should be possible in VR as itās similar to the SR22ās layout.
Itās still usable at least, but frustrating.
For those that donāt do VR, itās like you have to try really hard to get the cursor to focus on some random area of the screen that differs from what your vision is telling you. Normally the mouse tracks on X and Y in 2D space just fine. But in VR it also needs to track on the Z axis, which should be the contours of the airplanes surfaces.
Reported it to Discord.
