What a wonderful time for us business jet fans. Not one, but multiple aircraft getting the same level of attention to detail that’s traditionally only been found on airliners. I might go broke, but I’m buying them all because I support this trend! Really looking forward to this the more I hear about the systems depth.

I’ve been flying the new FSR Phenom 300 almost non-stop since its release, so this will be an interesting comparison between the two, with similar Garmin avionics.
Let’s hope so. I can’t wait for this one. A perfect companion to the Phenom.
I’ll be honest, I was preparing myself for something that cost more than “just” $30 after seeing all the stuff they’ve simulated and coded. Guess I’m used to the high fidelity airliners in my hangar. Absolutely a day one purchase, fingers crossed it is out soon!
That’s what they’re hoping for. If it goes live on MP today then OrbX will push the button too.
This one is right in the sweet spot for me. I like the smaller business jets for IFR because they still feel busy enough without turning every flight into an airliner-length session, and the Sovereign+ sits in a nice place between the CJ/Phenom size and the larger long-range jets.
If the custom G5000 work and ACARS side are as deep as people are saying, the 29.99 dollar price feels pretty reasonable. I’m not in a rush to buy every new release on day one, but this one is definitely going on my shortlist.
Yeah I see them as a perfect pair, one in each category but with similar systems making it relatively easy to go between them.
Honda Jet, Phenom 300, Sovereign is pretty much my lineup right now depending on the run!
I don’t fly bizjets often, mostly because none of the ones I have can display a copilot from inside. The Cirrus and Honda can be flown solo, so I just swap out the copilot avatar for one of the invisible ones. I absolutely love the look of the Longitude, but with no copilot and no cabin, it just gets boring.
I don’t need all the hidden features in the cabin or all the panels that open - at least in 2024. But if I can have a copilot sitting beside me in the 2020 version of this one, I’ll be one of the first in line to buy it!

This was originally billed as a 2020/2024 release. Is there an ETA on the 2020 version?
In the Discord message I pasted a few posts before they said it will take a few weeks till MSFS2020 release.
To clarify, released for MSFS2024 only on ORBX at the moment. FS2024 Marketplace is “later this week”. FS2020 is a few weeks.
It’s $A46 on Orbx if you are in Australia, compared to $A57 on MP for the Phenom. I’m still leaning towards the latter, partly because I like the included FBOs, but also because from the videos I’ve seen of the Sovereign so far it has some very low-polygon modelling in places and a total lack of visible passengers (despite all the cabin controls simulation!).
Ah perfect. I actually prefer this. No sense wasting performance on things I wont’ see anyway 
I kind of hate that the Phenom won’t let me turn off the darned pax.
Check your task manager if the process FlightSimulator2024.exe isn’t running. If yes then kill it. That never happened to me with Orbx.
