I know another (better) dev is working on CYQB so I don’t know how this release will affect that project. TaiModels’ recent Sanford doesn’t look bad, though, to be fair.

Thanks for the info! I will wait until the other developer’s version is released. Taimodels hasn’t really convinced me yet, even though they are obviously getting better with every project.

Who else is developing Quebec City?
Having spoken to the dev, he informs me that I’m free to make it public. It’s Northern Sky Studio, but whether he will now continue with it, I don’t know. He didn’t seem too impressed that TaiModels beat him to it…
Personally, I’d much rather wait for a NSS version.

Northern Sky Studios is one of the top 5 developers for me and I really hope he continues to work on Quebec. I really missed Quebec as the last major Canadian airport not yet in MSFS. But I think Taimodel’s version is rather average. No comparison to NSS.

Yea, I’d wait for NSS over TaiModels. Have a few of their others and they are nothing special.
Have all of NSS Hawaii and Alaskan airports, great stuff!
I’ve been happy with Taimodel’s other airports so far-and liking their CYQB.
Any update on whether or not this is still a go?
He said a couple of months ago that the project was nearer finish than start so he’d be pursuing development. I’ll send him an email…

Good news! NSS’ CYQB is almost complete but due to the dev’s location, in Eastern Ukraine, electricity some days can be intermittent (for obvious reasons). Therefore he isn’t willing to give a release window at this time.
